What TS are you eating at before MNSSHP?

We have reservations at 6:50 for LTT on 10/13...should I try to get that pushed back some, or will we miss anything if we're not out right at 7? It's our first MNSSHP.

I would cancel it if you can't push it back. There is no guarantee you will even be seated on time.Figure in an hour to an hour and a half dining time, and you are missing a big whack of time at the party.

I have to agree with this. I have 6:00 and feel that I'm pushing my luck with that, but since it's just DS and I we won't need a lot of time to eat. If there were more of us I'd be concerned.

We are doing LTT at 4:00 the night of MNSSHP (10/23). I couldn't get anything later. It's a lot earlier than I wanted to eat dinner, but I knew that (1) I wanted to be finished eating by 6:30 (2) kids wanted to see the characters in Halloween masks and (3) LTT has had some of the best character meal interaction we've ever had. We really don't go there for the food, which seems ironic to pick a restaurant for something other than the food!!

We're two adults (50's). We plan to be at the gates at 4:00 when they will let us in. We'll try a few rides and then head to The Plaza for salad or sandwich at 5:20 and then be ready for the party to start. I decided I didn't want anything fancy and something table service but quick and The Plaza fit the bill and it helps that The Plaza is one place we have to eat at every trip. Have a magical day!

We have ressies at Tony's at 5 on 10/26. Hopefully we will be done by 6 and be able to hit a few rides before the actual party begins.

1900 Park Fare.

We weren't going to do MNSSHP, but just decided to go so I called and asked if we could get into 1900 PF earlier that evening. I was able to get in before 5 pm.

1900 Park Faire also. We were there a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. It will be a great kickoff to the evening for the kids!

Gee, no one else for O'hana's??? I know it takes longer, but we have 4pm ressies. We'll also be there 9/9:cool1: .

Let's see - first party 10/16 we are eating at LTT at 6:45, 2nd party 10/19 we have California Grilla at 6, 3rd party 10/23 is also CG at 5:50. We aren't so concerned about getting there right at 7pm since we'll be there 3 times. The plan is to ride the rides and get candy at 2 of the parties, and take the time to see the parade, stage show, characters etc at the middle one.

We are eating at LTT, but I feel the same way as you. I want to see the characters, but am really worried about the food, what to do, what to do :confused3

I am one of those people that thought the food at LTT was decent! I am just now planning an October trip. I just made my adr's. I could only get LTT @ 7:25 on 10/28. I just went ahead and made the adr, but I am totally not sure about doing that. I hate to waste "party time" on eating, but I do want to see the characters since this is the last year for it. Sooo if anyone is canceling their LTT early adr on 10/28, just by chance  ... PLEASE let me know! :yay:

We've got a 4:30 ADR for Tony's on 10/23. We plan to show up at the gates right around 4:00, we hope to be done with a light dinner by 5:30. Gives us plenty of park time. And if we get hungry later in the party, that's what Casey's is for.

Was going to MNSSHP on either Tues 10/7 with MIL (adventurous eater) or Thurs 10/9 with Dad and StepM (NOT adventurous - very picky). We opted to go on Tues with MIL so we have 4:55 at CP - I think she will like that, and we get to see the start of the party! I've done LTT twice before MNSSHP and while LTT isn't great, it has a good atmosphere and you walk out into a transformed MK!

We are eating at 4 on 09/05 at the Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom (we are staying at AKL) so changing after the meal will be easy.

We have the Plaza at 4:50 on September 30th - that leaves plenty of room and time for Caseys and a Mickey bar!
