I'm curious since I'll be bringing a small knapsack into the parks. So far I only have tickets, cash, change for vending machines, cell phone and mints(and maybe a can of Dr.Pepper)

I always throw a small package of kleenex, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, chapstick, sunscreen and travel toothbrush/paste & floss (okay, I'm a little OCD!) into my bag when I'm heading out for a full day in the parks.

I learned this one the hard way-if you get migraine headaches that are only "cured" (or lessened") by certain medication, make sure you bring that with you. Trust me, with so many crowds, loud shows, general excitement, the theme parks aren't much fun with a migraine headache.

Make sure you bring sunscreen and someone already mentioned hand sanitizer.

Yeah- I usually take a chapstick, stick of sunscreen, sunglasses, a cheap walmart poncho, some purell and definitly some advil- I always get a headache from the loud busses, rides, shows, etc.

Why would you bring Dr. Pepper? Do they not sell Dr. Pepper in the parks? I'm a Pepper. I went to the Mall of America a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find Dr. Pepper anywhere. I almost had withdrawls! This could pose a problem.

We always bring:

-sunscreen :sunny:
-pocket sized first aid kit- bandaids, antiseptic wipes, lip balm, aspirin, moleskin for blisters, and hand sanitizer
-digital camera
-rain ponchos :umbrella:
-room key card (with charging abilities) that has tickets and Dining plan linked
-very small bit of cash
-sunglasses
-a bottle of h2o, and packets of Crystal Light To Go
-a small brush, ponytail holders, and lipstick
-cellphone

That's it! :flower:

When I carry a knapsack & am planning a full day at the parks, I often throw in, along with the already mentioned stuff, a sarong. I use it as a light cover-up against the chill of massive A/C, it doubles as a towel if you need to wipe off and as a blanket to sit on for watching parades/fireworks....

Lately, I've been carrying nothing but my wallet, cell phone & water. Some days I bring a camera. I haven't had any problems yet that I needed all the stuff I used to carry. :confused3 I stop for breaks at the resort in the middle of the day & grab anythiing extra I need then, tho......

Here is what I carry (I should mention I have a little problem with overpacking)
-Wallet (insurance cards, drivers license, room key, major credit card, DDE card w/ list of restaurants about $50 in cash)
-Digital Camera
-Some pins in a small change purse
-Small package of Kleenex
-Advil
-Cell Phone
-Cheap Poncho
-Water Bottle
-A few napkins (great for wiping off wet seats!)
-A few wet wipes (the kind in the small square packaging)
-Chapstick
-Small hair brush with binders wrapped around the handle
-Small compact
-gum
-a bandaid or two just in case

I always take:
two bottles of water
two throw away rain ponchos (these are the recyclable kind)
small tube of sunscreen
two tubes of lemonade powder
One non-melting powerbar
One zip-lock freezer bag
small pack of hand wipes (gel type)
small pack of cleaning cloths
headache tablets (mine are prescription)
sunglasses

I always get the following at the park:
bandages from First Aid (usually first stop in morning)
napkins (to clean seats, benches)
park map/time guide

:3dglasses

This is going to be me- minus the crystal light LOL

(wait- minus cellphone also.... mine doesn't seem to work in the parks anyway for some reason and I have no one to call while there. I'll call DH at home from payphones with prepaid cards)

Okay previously I've brought a LOT more than this but it was usually DH *and* myself both carrying backpacks and we had a stroller so we didn't have to lug it all the entire time. This time it's me and kids and no stroller- so we're travelling light. if I need to bring more- we'll use a locker. LOL
