what to serve with Ham?

For our family dinner on Sunday, I am making
Ham
Mashed potatoes
Ham gravy
Candied sweet potatoes
Green bean casserole

Really I would just choose your family's favorite.

I like mac and cheese and you can use left over ham and have ham/mac & cheese the next day!

also have some nice loaves of bread on hand for leftover ham sandwiches.

We always have deviled eggs with ham and I like broccoli casserole with ham.

My menu:
Spiral sliced ham (costco)
Sweet potato casserole (with a praline topping, no marshmallow yuck for me!)
Fresh Green Beans with bacon and dill
Deviled eggs
Fruit Salad
Homemade Rolls
Peach Jam
Cranberry Relish

Pecan Bars
Pumpkin Pie
Rum Cake

This is my standard holiday menu, I may buy a prime rib roast instead of a ham, then I will make wild rice or twice baked potatoes instead of sweet potato casserole.

another vote for the pineapple casserole...we also make the one without cheese...and I thought it was a family recipe LOL:dance3:

this thread is awesome since I am having 40 for dinner on Christmas Eve and I am serving ham. I'm thinking:

spiral ham
mashed potatoes
scalloped potatoes
sweet potatoes
green bean casserole
macaroni and cheese - only made once before so i hope it comes out good.
baked beans - if i can find a crockpot recipe
pasta salad
squash
coleslaw
carrots
stuffing - maybe. I know that it doesn't really go but everyone loves it and i can make it the day before. What do you think?

Can anyone think of any other recipes that I can make the day before and just warm up on that day?

Haven't read all of the posts so these may be repeats:

Scalloped potatoes or hash brown casserole
Corn Pudding
Candied sweet potatoes
corn (for the kids)
greenbeans, broccoli or sauteed spinach
celery stuffed with cream cheese and olives
rolls
relish tray (pickles, olives)
sometimes deviled eggs
sometimes green salad

I've made chipolte and cheese sweet potato casserole before...Make like you would make au gratin potatoes but with sweet and add chipolte pepper

We are only having three for Christmas dinner. I am recovery from major surgery so the sides had to simple since dh is doing all the cooking!

Spiral Ham
Broccoli and cheese
Corn
Mashed potatoes
Rolls

Lots of Christmas cookies for dessert!

I serve potatos au gratin using a gruyere cheese and asparagus that is sauteed with garlic...my family won't let me do it any other way....

I can't imagine having ham without mashed potatoes. As for ham gravy...I make a gravy from the ham, pineapple, clove, and brown sugar that comes off the ham. Sounds similar to what I have seen posted.
