I know this is a topic that has been covered in the past, but well... I am going to dig it back up again since I want to try some new things on this cruise (I am on the 4 day Wonder)...

Anyone one have any favorites, or things I should try, just for the sake of it...

I usually try to go with my server's suggestions of the day. They have generally been excellent choices, and I have not been displeased with any meal.

I like to order several appetizers and share with my family too. It is fun to try a wide variety. :)

If you want to be adventurous, try the escargot...one of our servers talked me into it a long time ago, and now I have really learned to like it.
I love the goat cheese & duck flatbread in Animators, as well as the gazpacho (cold tomato soup that would remind you of salsa), and I discovered a new favorite in the lamb at Triton's. And of course if you go to Palo, DO NOT miss the chocolate souffle.

Barb,

I read your raving of the lamb on the 3 peat report, and I can't wait to try it now... On my last cruise I took the server's suggestion (sea bass) and it was good, but I think often times the server goes with the most-liked, and I wanna try different stuff this time :) The lamb and escargot are on the top of my list.

Go with the Cuban Ribeye at PC, it was awesome! Also, don't miss the chocolate soufle at Palo (you have to order it with your main course since it takes a while to cook) it too is amazing. Finally, you can't go wrong with the Creme Brule in Tritons.

As for CC, go to the adult beach (skip the Cookies place) and go with the steak sandwich and the salmon sandwich, both were great. There was NO lobster on any venue on the 4 night cruise we were on last year. That was a disappointment. I am excited about the 7 night Western we are on next month! 11/9, I've been assured by the conceirge that there is one lobster night (I think it's Thursday?) and also Lobster at CC.

Enjoy.

Don't miss the Coconut Prawns (shrimp) in Parrot Cay! Awsome! We've been talking about these since our last cruise!

And... side note... One night we couldn't decide on desserts in Animators Pallet... our server brought us one of every dessert on the menu! Our kids were in dessert heaven that night!

I had the jumbalaya (no idea on the spelling) one evening - it was really good (and I don't care for sea food - mussels, clams etc - and I enjoyed it a lot).

The coconut prawns in Parrot Cay are delicious (have considered ordering several plates of them and calling it dinner!)

Once again I don't care to much for sea food / fish (shrimp excepted), but up in Palo for brunch I had some sort of fish and it was the best meal I have every had. Still don't know the name, but on the next cruise am going to have it again!!

Jrabbit, could it have been the tilapia with risotto? Mmm, that was so good. Gabriela recommended it, we quickly learned to do as our server told us. Diana

Which reminds me. At dinner, Marco told us that Palo's risotto is almost as good as his Italian Mama's. We got a "side" order of mushroom risotto with our filet mignon. Bellisima! Diana

I thought that the Tilapia that was served in Palos for Brunch was FABULOUS!!! I am not much of a fish eater but it was MARVELOUS!!! Other standouts were the LOBSTER (both on ship and at CC), the Creme Brulee, and the salad that has the blue cheese in it (sorry, can't remember the exact name, but it was a dish from the Wilderness lodge). Actually, all the food was good, and our serve was SO wonderful that we always had several "extra" dishes to choose from! We all ate until we were STUFFED!!! As our server used to say "GO FOR IT!" (and we did!)
