I booked my trip thru a TA and perhaps I am too controlling to leave the arrangements up to someone else. I booked my package in Jan. about the time that the 2008 cruises came out. I was patient when it took a couple of days for the TA to respond to questions, etc. Then, I was contemplating changing hotels--again, she had been ill and out of town, etc. so I waited for info then. Decided against upgrading hotels, paid in full, etc. After reading posts here I decided to see if I could get "preferred" room at Pop. Waited on response "due to the free dining packages" coming out. She emailed me and said she would continue to try to get the preferred room and that was at least a week ago. Is it common to wait a couple of days for a response via email? As I understand it, I can't change my reservation at Pop if booked thru a TA. All along I have felt like my trip was the least of her concerns. Am I a Value customer wanting Deluxe service?
