What to do in December? Suggestions please!

In Florida? We may have close to a week there before Christmas. Just in the planning stages now. What would you do? Don't want to break the bank, although a trip to WDW might be possible.

I assume you will be in the Orlando area?

If you are looking for Christmassy things to do, I would highly recommend:

- a day at SeaWorld. Their Christmas Celebration is not to be missed, and included with your regular park admission.

- ICE! at Gaylord Palms. Simply awesome.

- A flight on the Orlando Eye in a holiday-themed capsule. The upgrade is only $5 and includes VIP admission and a Christmas cookie per person.

Check out the Go Orlando card. We got the 5 day card and it was definitely worth the cost. During the 5 days we went to: Kennedy Space Centre, WonderWorks, GatorLand, LegoLand, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Congo River mini golf and the Outta Control Magic Dinner Show.

If you are looking at sports at all, you can watch the Magic or head over to Tampa and watch the Lightning.

You could try one of the waterparks!

We had a non-Disney trip last December. We did Gatorland, Seaworld, played mini golf, did an airboat tour, and took the kids go-karting. We had a blast!
