What to do between Chef Mickeys and Wishes

For our arrival day we have a 6:30pm dinner res at Chef Mickey's, and I would love for us to watch Wishes from the Contemporary. We will be likely be done by 7:30...maybe closer to 8. What can we do around the Contemporary for an hour? It is myself and two almost-5 year olds.

If we magically have the energy we will eat fast and go to MK, as we have park hoppers, but I am really thinking after waking up at 4am for our flight...it will be a miracle if they even want to stay after dinner and watch Wishes!

I would tour the resort, but I don't think that's something that really interests little kids. If it were me, I would probably take a ride on the monorail; the kids I've been to Disney with all seem to really like monorail rides.
