What to bring into parks?

Wallet, sunglasses, maybe a tiny bottle of sunscreen, phone. Nothing else. Once my kids grew out of diaper age, I stopped bringing an annoying bag or fanny pack, and have never missed it since.

I could never go bagless--I'm too afraid of stuff falling out of my pockets. I have to have at least a small bag. But then I also have to carry inhalers with me, and those things are not comfortable to have in your pocket.

I was hoping to adjust to contacts before my next trip. Otherwise, I have to carry glasses and sunglasses. I would wear my glasses all day, but they hurt my head. I would skip the regular glasses altogether, but distances are rough. Contacts are better, except when my allergies are flaring....sooo....

So, it's a fanny pack for me. I also carry chapstick, sunscreen stick, backup battery, a couple bucks, and a credit card.

Just back, no checking of bags anymore - just randomly. I used a very lightweight crossbody which held my phone, lip balm, sunshades, tiny wallet with cc, small cash, dr. lic. med. & ins. cards, clip on sanitizer, very compact umbrella (mostly for sun). First week of June - very dry, good temps, low crowds, with light rain one day - gorgeous week!

My bagless carry; wear a Magic Band old style, small wallet with ID, some cash, one CC, insurance card, then my cellphone. Sometimes I carry something in my hand, like a water bottle, or umbrella. That's it. If it is something others would like to try, it is indeed best to find clothes with pockets that either zip or button, and it's not as hard as one would think, even for women's clothes, the other option is deep pockets.

I wouldn't carry the go-pro unless there's a specific plan to use it. I also usually go back to the room at some point and just recharge my phone then (I turn on battery saver at the beginning of the day and make an effort to stay off my phone whenever humanly possible), so no charger.
