Credit card, ID, sunscreen, maybe water. All in my pocket. Once my kid was old enough to not need a diaper bag, I travelled very light.
I hate walking through crowds with them period. Disney or NYC. People lack basic spacial awareness with them - even compact ones go outside your head and can poke people.I don’t find walking around with a compact umbrella any worse at Disney than walking around at home with one either.
Unfortunately, this will not work. I got asked for ID at dinner on our last trip and they would not serve me. I did have a copy of my license on my phone and my birthdate info in MDE, but they would not allow it. I'm clearly decades over 21, and the manager came over to apologize but said the policy is that once they have asked for ID they are absolutely not allowed to serve you unless you have the physical ID on you.DL (will I be carded if I get alcohol? I'm in my 50s, but don't know what the policy is) not needed. I would have a pic of it just incase.
I get it...but it has worked for us. So it will depend on the person...but we are in our early 40's so never even thought to have the actual ID.Unfortunately, this will not work. It shouldn't have worked. I work in the alcohol industry and we have to take Save Serve tests every few years. Photos of an ID should definitely not be taken as a form of ID.I get it...but it has worked for us. I try to be a minimalist but I just can never do it.
I wear a waistpack and sometimes it’s over my shoulder.
If I know it’s going to rain all day (we go in November so it’s not as common) we bring real lightweight rain jackets.

I envy my husband who only has his phone in his pocket. But he does offer to hold my bag for me.
My daughters carry their own stuff usually in one of their many themed Loungefly backpacks.
