What times have they been handing out dreams

I was just curious when other YOMD winners recieved thier prizes. I have been lucky enough to win twice, both times at EPCOT (must be my lucky park ). The first time was back in Nov, and we were at Soarin' and it was litterally mins. after the park opened (We we the first batch of people on the ride). The dream team came out when were in the preshow loading area and gave out dream fastpasses. The second time was this past weekend, and it was also early, around 10-10:30. I was at Test Track and when they let us in the preshow area, the dream squad was there and they handed out wristbands and buttons for dream magic hour. My question is... Do they hand out dreams in the afternoon, or is it mostly a morning thing? I can understand handing out fastpasses first thing in the morning, because that way you can make the most of your day, but lanyards and dream ears would make great dreams anytime of the day. Have the other DIS winners also won in the morning, or has anyone run into the dream squad in the afternoon?

Per the official rules prizes can be handed out any time from 9 AM - 5 PM. The times are completely random, though, so they could all take place early, could all take place late, or could spread out across the day!

We went to AK on Wednesday. On my way out of EE I overheard a dream team CM telling a woman that they were done giving out dreams for the day. It was 3:35.

Off topic, but we also went to DTD around 7pm. They were having a dance party on the stage. DS8 had a blast. There was a wonderful CM leading the crowd with YMCA, Macarena, Cha Cha Slide, etc... We stayed and danced until almost 9. Best part, it was free entertainment! They said they have it every Wed, Fri, and Sat night.

I was at AK Wednesday too!! I saw a group of them at the exit to KS and at the entrance to the Pagani Trail. They said Hello and noticed my birthday button but nothing..... This was before noon. It was the first time I had seen the Dream Squad all week.

Your birthday button doesn't 'entitle' you to any prizes or otherwise. They likely were setting up for a prize drop that was going to take place in the next few minutes. The awarding is specific to a certain time so if the prizes were to be awarded at 9:51 AM and you passed their point at 9:50 AM you would not have been a winner.

We won a stay in the Castle Suite in May. It was awarded right around noon. I think the castle stay is typically given away earlier in the day because the winner is usually given the chance to Grand Marshall the parade and gets dinner reservations at CRT around 6:00pm.

We were also awarded the Castle Suite around noon at MGM. The CMs took us on a few more rides at MGM before we headed back to our resort to pack up for the evening.

We had Jessie and Julian and they were amazing. Jessie jumped up and down with our kids, rode rides with them (at their request), held their hands, etc. It was great! They have the coolest job and I think you can really tell that they enjoy it.

Do they give the castle stay out to someone random? Has anyone gotten it that is just a couple or just 2 friends on vacation?

WE won DFP's last week. It was very early in the morning, right after the park opened on Pooh. Also just missed the dream team by 20 min the next day at Epcot where they were handing out DFP for the people who walked into Turtle Talk with Crush @ 9:20 (also almost right after the park opened)
But we met some girls that won a "private party with 1,600 other people" the day before @ Epoct in the middle of the afternoon on Imaginations.

Also ealy afternoon as we were leaving the MK one day we saw the DT waiting in the exit area of the Main Street train station stop with the ears...

so i'd say for the DFP early in the morning on the rides is your best bet
