I have been trying for the past few days to add on one night to our Jan 15-20stay and can't seem to get the night of the 20th. I was told that 7am was the best time, but one reservation person said it really doesnt matter. What has been your experience with this? thanks!

Historically, calling first thing in the morning was the correct procedure. Disney's old reservation system held all canceled rooms (sites) until the system updated overnight, then these rooms became available the next morning.

As I understand it, the new reservations system is "live" meaning that cancelled rooms (sites) are immediately available for reservation.

Call and check online. When trying to get my ressie last Christmas, I spoke with a CM and nothing was available. I checked online not 30 minutes later and got my ressie!:confused3

So you never know!

Thanks! I got the reservation at 11 am but still cant add on the night of the 20th. I did try online, and was able to find it, but for some reason, the reservation wouldnt go through and my computer screen froze! I did manage to print it out, but that didnt help when i called reservations. Will keep trying.
