I love that you guys had character hats for your character encounters at breakfast. That definitely makes everything more fun. I love CP and we are eating there in October. I am drooling over your food. It looks so good!

We've had those hats for several years now...the characters get a kick out of them; especially Eeyore.

I am overdue for a CP breakfast. Have a dinner coming up in Oct but have not had a breakfast scheduled in a couple of years.

The next trip you must schedule it, Pat.

What a great morning you're off to already! I love the pooh characters AND I love the Jungle Cruise! My kids LOVE BTMRR! I like it, but it's almost too wild for me (I'm such a wimp).

You know, I noticed for the first time this year on BTMRR that I had a slight headache from whipping all over. I guess my age is catching up to me.

OMG, OMG, OMG, SSR is our Home resort and where we will be too . We just might be next door neighbors!!! I am sooooooo excited now .

Yes, we are at different resorts, but we are eating all of our meals together. This is the third time that Mary, the girls, Mark and I will be at Disney together (Mary, the girls and I have also taken two girls trips together and a third one is planned next year).

i have seen the characters ride the carousel before but that is it, i think it would be fun to go on a ride with them, it would be awesome to go on buzz with buzz

I have seen them on the carousel and Mad Tea Party. I think it's really cool that they do that.

After our ride on BTMR, we still had quite a bit of time before our Fastpasses were good for Splash Mountain. So we headed here:









As you saw above, the wait time said 20 minutes, but we were in the stretching room in less than 10.







After our ride with hitchhiking ghosts, we headed towards Fantasyland.

A bio-break was needed, so we stopped in Rapunzel's bathroom area:









We peeked in at Mickey's Philharmagic after and found the next show was just about to open the doors, so we decided to see that while we were there:









Then it was off to one of Mark's all-time favorites (if not his absolute favorite):



Yes, we were going to see our favorite flying elephant:



It was a walk on.



Soon we were flying with Dumbo:

After finishing Dumbo, we stayed in the area and decided to go see some very special friends. Friends that until I read a TR I had no idea were there. We were going to see:





It is very hard to get pictures in here, but I think our photopass ones turned out and I'll post them when we get them. I didn't give them my camera or phone to take pictures, but I did when we went back outside and entered on the other side to see these lovely ladies:





The only picture from my camera is the one of us with Miss Minnie:



I do remember that both Minnie and Daisy made a big deal of our 30th wedding anniversary and the fact that they did NOT have rings from Donald and Mickey. At one point, Daisy almost went over to the other side to give Donald holy you know what. It was a lot of fun.

We stopped in the gift shop and Mark thought I should get this (but I didn't):



And I thought he should have gotten this one:



We left the gift shop, and we saw these guys and stopped and listened for awhile:







It was now time to use our fastpasses for Splash Mountain so we walked back to that area. It turned out that this would work perfectly...get on the ride, pray not to get drenched and then it would be about time for our lunch ADR).
