I've beat my personal lowest temp! The coldest I have ever been in(until moving here) was 27 degrees!!!

I couldn't even FATHOM what sub zero and zero temps felt like. It feels the same...Just really cold! (I don't know why I thought it would feel different lol)

We're about the same as yesterday at this time. 8:30 am and its currently 6, but feels like -11 with the wind chill.

It was starting to get warm in the afternoons last week, then we got hit with a blast of cold air again. Our high yesterday only got to 23.

8:05 am and the current temp is 0. No wind chill at the moment thankfully.

That's the truth until you start hitting lower than 20 below or so. Then it kind of hurts to breath, and your nose hairs freeze and tickle. Plus it hurts your face.

We're having a heat wave--currently 43 degrees, rainy and quite windy. And THEY CLOSED SCHOOL. I do so love a solidly frozen ground . I work in a school and went in yesterday to write progress reports. There was about a half inch of rain in the parking lot, but ice under that. It was a challenge just to get from the car to the front door (and I was wearing sandals without cleats).

I thought they might close school, so I brought some work home. And DS and I are going to watch Ponyo.

We lived in Milford NH for a few years when my DH was stationed at New Boston Air Force Station in 1980. Loved the town but not the cold weather. That is why I am here in sunny Florida where it is 80% and sunny. The time is 1:40 pm.

I HATE this weather up here, and will be moving south one of these days! When we retire!! I have a cousin that lives in Palm Bay, she's been there for about 10+ years now and loves it. Our best friends live in Deltona, they moved down a few years ago.



It's 2:38p and 58 degrees, but sad to say the wind is now coming from the north so I think the COLD will be back tomorrow

Another below freezing day here. They say our high for today will only be 16. Should be back in the 40's by the weekend. I sure hope so.

9:25 am and the current temp is 7. Feels like -13 with the wind chill.

We got some snow. Wish we would've gotten more. Our drought situation is terrible. I thought we were supposed to get at least 6 inches, but only landed up with one, if that.

Morning! The only thing I would like to trade with you is the SNOW! Yes it is snowing here today, got about 3-4inches so far.

Something is wrong in the universe when it's colder in Southern Arizona than back home in Southern Maine! Yesterday was the coldest morning in Tucson in 39 years- 17 degrees!!!! There were many, many homes waking up to frozen pipes.

7:45am- the sun is coming up over the mountains, but it is only 25 degrees. Very cold for here! The good news is that this cold snap is about to break. We should see a high of 64 this afternoon, and then the rest of the week is back to the mid-70s. I'm really missing my warm temps!
