What time is it now and how's the weather in your neck of the woods, Part 3

60-65 Degrees, but oddly high humidity. It's the worst of both worlds. Not particularly warm and yet humid at the same time, on a night it's terrible. (No one has AC here... it hardly ever gets above 75 degrees tbh, even in the high summer.)

It's 1:02p and 83 degrees, very nice outside today! Low humidity and sunny!

Sounds nice!:thumbsup2 I have family that live in Maryland and New Jersey, and they are in Maine (Cape Porpoise) on vacation this week. Sounds like they picked a nice week!

My husband and I had plans to go back to Maine in November, but we have now changed those plans, and will be heading back the first week of August. Our younger daughter wanted to go back with us, and August is the only time she can go. I'm so excited to go back and eat seafood!

Our 83 degrees is now up to 89 and it looks like we might see a few thunderstorms this afternoon.

3:08PM and it's 91 degrees here. But it feels much better than yesterday!

It's 99 degrees in northeastern South Carolina. A bit cooler than Sunday's 106!

Can't wait for next week's cool down with high's in the upper 80's by late next week.

Another hot day in South Carolina. Current temp is 97 degress. Glad I'm finished with grilling for the 4th!

YIKES were all in a heat wave

NJ is 85 degrees hot and humid and torking up to mid 90's today

Such odd weather! While a good portion of the country is suffering from extreme heat, we had below normal temperatures on the Fourth.

Tucson only hit a high of 72 yesterday and it was a cloudy rainy day. Weird.

The sun is shining this morning, though.:) 7:30am and 71 degrees.

You might be happier going in August and eating that seafood! Yes they did pick a great week to go to Maine.

It's 10:22a and 78 degrees, the humidity is on the raise again. Going to be very humid late this afternoon till some time Sunday. Tomorrow will be HOT and HUMID!

Got some much needed rain yesterday. :dance3: Still need a lot more to relieve the drought, but we'll take it where we can get it. More chances for rain today. :cool1:

Nice cool morning. Beats the high 90's and 100's we've had lately.

63 degrees at 8:33 am. Sunny and clear at the moment. Come on rain.

It's 11am and 94 out already in Northern Oklahoma. The high is supposed to be 106 today. Ugh. :crazy2:

Well after another hot and humid weekend it's nice today with low humidity!

It's 8:52a and 63 degrees!

happy to report a delightful 75 degrees with nice breeze at 9:30 am in NJ

Such a relief from the humid/ 100 degree weather over the weekend.

YOU HAVE TO RIDE THE RADIATOR SPRINGS RACERS!!!! I am also not a fan of fast rides, but I was determined to ride RSR and I LOVED it! The ride has so much going for it! The special effects are amazing and the beginning of the ride is slow. :)

We're back from Disneyland and I agree with you, Momrek06, Cars Land is fantastic!

:car: I DID IT LUV, I DID IT!!! AND I LOVED IT!!! Brett and I actually decided to do the 'single rider' line. MUCH QUICKER!!! Even though we could not ride together both times I got on it was within 40 minutes and I got on with people that had waited THREE HOURS … :scared:!!!! BUT IT IS AWESOME, FABULOUS, AMAZING!!!! DISNEY DID FABULOUS WITH RSR!!! :car:

Mike and Heather … OMG, you are going to LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

So I have been missing because we were in WASH DC as Brett had business there … June 22-July 1. OMG OMG OMG it was the WORST weather we have EVER experienced even with living my entire life in Boston. :scared:

It was HOT HOT HOT and HUMID HUMID HUMID. The days were 104. Yes they were. We tried so hard to sight see but that humidity was sooooo unhealthy. I do not know how people live in weather like that … it just was sickening. I am very thin and I thought I was going to faint so often. Brett and I had to go so slow. One time I just started to cry as we walked around the Capitol in the blasted sun with no shade and the heat and humidity raging. The natives were setting everything up for July 4th … I have NO clue how they could WORK in that weather that we could barely walk in. :(

We spent most of our times in museums. We had too. It was HORRIFIC outside. We were there for that BIG HUGE Friday night storm that whipped through WASH DC. My sister in Maine texted me that she had just seen the News and a storm was headed for DC for 10pm and make sure you are back in the hotel by then. Well we were out walking as night's were not as bad as days. We got back to our hotel and were sitting in the huge Lobby listening to Jazz from the lounge. WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN the trees outside started whipping around and blowing and bending in half … OMG, its starting … the storm …! We were at the 'W' in WASH DC and up on the ROOFTOP is a huge lounge for all the 30 somethings all coming in for some nightlife … well as the skies opened up, they all were SOAKED to pieces. Young ladies and men coming in dressed to the 9's … DRENCHED. Then the thunder and lightening … OMG … just a disaster. :scared:

Saturday morning (June 30) it was just as HOT as ever. This storm did not cool one thing off. The temps were 102 with a heat index of 106. OMG.

WE JUST WANTED BACK IN THE OC where the temps were in the 70's and no humidity.

July 1st we returned landed at LAX at noon and literally needed a lite sweater. YEAH!!!!

Last week, July 2-7th, I had a friend visiting and we did the Parks and she LOVED LOVED LOVED CARSLAND!!!! :car:

POOH, I listen to WBZ every day here in CALI and the weather in New England sounds HEAVENLY. No humidity, comfy temps!!!! :thumbsup2

9:27am Today is bright sun, lovely humidity-free day 71 degrees. :sunny:

YAY! Glad you rode RSR and loved it!:yay: The next time I ride it, I'm going to try to be a little less terrified during the fast part!

I lived in Maryland, not far from the Washington DC area, for fifteen years. I know exactly what you mean by the hot, humid weather in that region of the country. And it was unusually hot and humid during the time you were there.

I see you have a ticker that says you're going back to New England soon. We're heading back the first of August for a week. You can find me at the Clam Shack in Kennebunkport getting my fill of Fried Haddock!:thumbsup2

Finally, a cooler day in South Carolina. Today's high around 90. Much better than Monday's 101!

Yay for cooler weather!:thumbsup2

It's 4:11p and 91 degrees, getting a little more humid too! Tomorrow should be even more humid and hot!
