What time is it now and how's the weather in your neck of the woods, Part 3

It's a little past 3:00pm here in central Illinois. It's hot, has been hot for a long while, but for a change it is raining! Never thought I'd consider a nice day to be a rainy one.

Another warm one!

It's 9:27a and 83 degrees, with the humidity it feels like 87!

It's not all that hot here in western PA today. Phone says 85. The humidity on the other hand is unreal here at work. Yesterday was around 93 outside and it was tolerable. Today, not at all. AC office is holding out at 80° and when I walk out, I look like I just jumped in the pool with my clothes on after about 3 minutes. There are literal trails of sweat from other workers walking by out on the plant floor.

AC is broken in my control room/office. Replaced with a regular household 12,000 BTU window unit. Not even close to being good enough. Without it though, 2 weekends ago, it was 110° in our tiny little room we work in. Imagine what it was like having to go stand next to the 350° vessels that we work with every hour.

It is so nice out there this morning! Low humidity and partly cloudy with a light breeze!

It's 10:07a and 73 degrees :thumbsup2

We've been getting some much needed rain. We still need a lot more, but loving every minute of it. We got a nice down pour last night and a couple last week. Really helped cool things down around here. Was actually pretty cool this morning. It was only 60 degrees when I left to work this morning.

Less chances for rain today, going into the weekend. Next week they say we should get more. Be a little warmer this weekend as well. Back into the mid to high 90's. Still beats the 100+ days we've been having.

9:50 am. Sunny and a pleasant 74 degrees.

8:05, sunny and 54 degrees. It's supposed to get to 75 today. :scared1: That's hot for here, though it can get into the 80's now and then. Still, it gets over 65, and people start talking about what a scorcher it is. Then we realize what we're saying, and start laughing. I guess it's all perspective. :rotfl2:

So glad your getting something there.....we could use a little rivers getting low. Finally the temp has dropped here, along with the humidity for now.

At least yours are just getting low. We've had some dry up. Lakes and ponds as well.

Temps back on the rise today. Little chances for rain. Better chances next week.

1:07 pm and its currently 86 degrees.

I continue to be amazed at the beautiful sunsets we see each evening from our backyard. I'm not used to living where there is so much wide, open space! Many more big trees in Maine! Here is tonight's sunset:

We've been getting plenty of showers and downpours lately. The monsoon arrives like clockwork every July and August. Today was cloudy and drizzly most of the day. Still hit 90, though.:)

9:30pm and 78 degrees.

don't know what the temp is right now at 1AM but yesterday (Sunday) we hit 105 in Omaha. It is supposed to be 103 at least thru Wed. Plus we have't had any rain for weeks.

It was a beautiful day in Scotland today! We are holidaying here and are so pleased with the weather which usually is wet, cold and rainy. We had a wonderful day hiking up the CairnGorms and made some wonderful memories!
Hopefully the sun will be shining for tomorrow- we are going to Loch Ness. Something I have always wanted to do. Wish me luck that the weather will be good- got my fingers crossed! :)

Oh it's so nice outside wish I could go out and enjoy it! I will at lunch time that's for sure!

It's 11:06a and 74 degrees, with LOW humidity!!
