So my favorite part of the week was just having new people to go around with. So much new came out recently that it was great to explore WDW through their eyes and offer some of my tricks to the mix.

Here are the ones fresh in my mind:
  • Watching ROL from flame tree BBQ from the back might actually be better than the stadium. Shade, a table and chairs, great audio, small crowd. You can watch the floats hide when not in use or the actors take cover when their boats go through the water screen. And if it's the show that ends just as hollywood studios fireworks start, you get a fireworks ending with a perfect view of the high altitude coming from above the bridge between stadium sections.
  • Gyser point is a great place in a great location but don't go for the food.
  • Not every family dynamic allows for someone to break off to do a ride when nobody else wants too and they got to be 10 again when the family wasn't able to make it with them.
  • I need to spend more time at universal and city walk. I really know nothing about it and had a great time there.
  • Breakfast is a big part of "I'm on vacation" that I never noticed before. They are awful but there was somethign missing to my week off and going around WDW that got filled in when I finally made it somewhere to have them.
  • Just learning why others pick what they want to do next gave a new view to how others see each park or resort.

So what did you learn that you never tried or thought about before?

Let's also toss in the question of "is there anything you wish you did differently".

edit:

For me it's I should have grabbed a room for the couple nights when the people I was hanging out with most did their short last minute trips. I had to drop out for pandora EMH, it was harder to make it to early morning or just running into each other breakfast.

Also the party ended up more a father/daughter empty epcot night and not a celebration of the dis.. not sure where we lost everyone as we did the preparty with them but I didnt' even notice that happened until after it was over and we walked out alone.

Didn't like geyser point food huh? What did you get? Was going to lunch there on my off day. Great tip on flame tree BBQ for ROL. Don't pass that around until I go in December. Lol.

I was there at Geyser Point and I would say those of us that got appetizer type food liked our food - but a number of people got burgers (both regular and bison) and basically no one liked them and found them dry

So I think it is a great spot for drinks and snacks/munchies, but less so for full meals

Just to mention, we didn't like it to the point we didn't finish it.. it wasn't a situation where it could have been better, we couldn't eat it..

I've given up on flame tree. I know many like it, it's far from good bbq but at least it's edible.

Wow. Okay off my list. Suggestion? It's my off day won't have park ticket. Plan is to hit drawing class at AOA, mini golf and dinner at Raglan Road. Staying at ASMu. Just eat CS at AOA oral do you have another recommendation? Need to use CS credit.
