We're going to Disneyland for a few days in September with two young children. Are there any random things that we should bring that aren't obvious? I've been wondering about things like rain ponchos or anything like that?
Bubbles~ you never know when you'll need them with young ones.
Snacks~ for bribing, silencing, and also for feeling hungry. Some examples would be granola bars, apples, trail mix, fruit leathers, cheese sticks, and crackers.
Water~ Bring your own bottles. It's a rip off in the parks.
Bandaids~ for blisters
Anti Bacterial Wipes~ Sometimes a sink and soap are not readily available.
We always go to the Dollar Store and buy those glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets. DD never asks for the more expensive light up toys when she knows she has a ton of those. Have a great time
Thanks, these are great! Bubbles--never would have thought of those and yet they would be perfect for entertaining the little ones in line. And the dollar store--I definitely need to hit that place up!
I did buy two of those battery powered spinning light up toy things at the Disney Store when our store went out of business. I thought that paying $3 each was much better than paying $15+ at Disneyland.
Also, bring a big pen for autographs. You could buy a book there or bring your own. We also bring a big bagof shiny pennies and plenty of quarters to press pennies. It costs 2 quarters to press one penny. It's one of DD's favorite thing to do a DL!
I bought some disney stuff at our local store on sale, then smuggeled them in my luggage. The princesses left my dd presents in the hotel room. She loved it and really thought the princesses knew she was there and left her presents.
glow in the dark sticks i get at walmart. also i have a few disney things already for when we are there one is a melifcent light up pin i will happen to pul out one night
