What rides would not be safe/okay to ride for someone with asthma? (not chronic)

What about for someone who has had heart surgery 3 years ago?

I'm especially concerned about MIB, Spiderman, Mummy and Jurassic Park.
I really don't want them to miss out on these.

Thank you.

Snoopy, no reason either could'nt ride anything they wanted. Keep inhaler with you, as an attack can happen anytime, but should'nt be precipitated by a ride. If asthma is exercised induced, I would use inhaler/nebulizer before going to parks - otherwise continue normal schedule and enjoy!

Speak with your physician if you have serious concerns.

I wouldn't ride BTTF.
It's a simulator that makes your brain think it's going a direction it isn't.
This ride is similar to Mission Space in what it does to people. My cube buddy went to Epcot a week to, rode Mission Space, got sick, and had to lay in bed all day Monday. Plus BTTF shakes violently if you are sitting in the back.

My 12 year old son has asthma and he is able to ride everything with no problem at all.

yeah bttf also has some mist that they use that seems different from the stuff used in spiderman, mib, jurassic park and the mummy(its kinda funny those are the rides u want to go on) but the stuff used in bttf always gives me a headache...but not the stuff in the other rides u want to ride:teeth:
also my mom has a slight case of asthma and always rides these rides

also as long as u aren't in a case where u think u might have a heart attack, the suspense in jurassic park and then the drop sometimes gets you heart pounding
but many people in my family have a bad heart and are fine on these paticular rides
u really shouldn't miss them unless your doctor or yourself tells u not to

if u do miss any of these rides when u go just ask me later or PM meand i can send u a link to see a video of each of these rides...if u want?

Even the most healthy of people have a hard time on BTTF. IT IS ROUGH!!!

I agree though, you should be able to ride everything except BTTF.

Thanks everyone. I feel better not having to worry about my family missing out on anything.

As for BTTF, that wasn't on my list anyway, I don't think I could handle it.

Just a suggestion for the asthmatic, have him/her take 1 puff or two prior to the day starting. My son has had episodes from the fog on spiderman and MIB but if he pre medicates hes just fine.
