What rides have scared/sickened you?

I'm with you Glendamax.....do you think they'd let us off before the drop???? :rotfl: (he, he)

Hey, it's worth a try! I just yell "STOP" right before the drop and see if I can get off! And I'll also ask if they can change Mission Space so I don't get sick!

Surprisingly, Astro Orbitor! I once got off this ride at MNSSHP and thought I would die! I was so dizzy and nauseaus that it took over an hour to recover!
Never again will I go on that seemingly harmless ride!

Body Wars gave me my first (and last) officially diagnosed "panic attack"!!! I thought I was going to die!!! Worse, it was the first ride I rode and I was ruined for the rest of the trip!!

Body Wars is the only Disney ride to ever have that "queasy factor" with me. :tilt:

Teacups and Mission Space... can't ride those spinny things. Anything else is fair game.

I have for some odd reason avoided this ride . . . tell me what it is about. I believe it is a similator. I can do Star Tours but Mission: Space -- NO WAY!

What is Body Wars like? :confused3

Hey Everyone! I just got back from Disney last week! While there, I was going to try Rockin Rollar Coaster, but the launch scared me to death! So I just took a few pictures, and opted out!

AE (now Stitch's Great Escape).
it's the only ride ANYWHERE that I felt clostrophobic.
Sitting in those restraints in the dark was about enough to make me hit the panic button!
The whole restraint thing on any ride drives me buggy, & that began w/ AE!
despite the warning in UG, despite the warnings clearly posted, despite my hairdresser's cautions, DH, who test drove AE it 1st, said "it was no big deal" so blindly. I take DS7 & myself into it. YIKES! DH sat in between DS7 & I so when I began hearing DS7 scream, those darn restraints kept me from getting to him--a mother's nightmare! DS & I were 'traumatized' for a full day! I gave DH the silent treatment for the rest of the day! :rotfl: We still tease DH for 'luring' us into that 'ride from H-E-double hockey sticks! I learned to listen to my hairdresser, Karen, & not DH! :goodvibes

IASW makes my skin crawl. What a nightmare! It's not too far a leap for me to imagine that gruesome little ditty slightly off tune & tempo & those diabolical dollies faces contorted with vile intention. Brrrrrrr...

I, too, can ride Star Tours. I love it! As a matter of fact, it is one of my favorite rides. Well, Body Wars is a similator like Star Tours, but I can't handle it. It makes me sick! I think it is because it has more of that rushed, straight forward motion than Star Tours. Whatever the difference is, I can't handle Body Wars.

Well everyone, after reading info on Expedition Everest, the new ride to open in Animal Kingdom next year, I guess this will be one to add to the list of "Will never ride again" or "Too scared to ride".

:sad2: Tea Cups, Star Tours, & the Carousel

Would love to try Tower of Terror & Mission Space but don't want to risk it with my stomach.

Would not even consider Astro Orbitor

Just curious to know if Expedition Everest has made the list, now that alot of people have been on this . . . :listen:

Star Tours made me feel sick. I had just finished eating lunch so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it but I think I will skip that ride in Oct.

I won't ride the following rides because they scare me:

Mission Space
ToT
RnR

I'll go on anything else. I have yet to dislike a ride that I've been on at WDW.

My kids are terrified of The Haunted Mansion and we have to skip it for them.

Body Wars, Star Tours and Teacups all make me motion sick.

Last year we rode Star Tours because DD wanted to so bad. I kept my eyes closed the whole time so I was fine but DH got right off and went to the bathrooms around the corner and threw up. And he doesnt even get motion sick. :confused3 DD did fine with it and she informed us she wants to go again this year. :confused3
