2027 Member Cruise

Today's saga:
-started calling at 10AM
-got through at 12noon
-on hold until 12:23PM
-agent was lovely, though call alternated with me giving information and being on VERY long holds until 1:48PM
but...WE'RE BOOKED!
Wanted a 5A, which were apparently available when we started the process, but ended up with a 5B, which is fine.

Finally booked and paid! (I was my agents second call and she picked up before 12:30, so that tells you how Disney IT’s day is going.) However, I was able to book my first choice of cabin in 9C!
We ended up in 9C, too. Hi neighbor!

Still waiting. After starting at 9 Central as instructed came here to wait out the snafus. Got in the queue at precisely 11:00:04 Central, agent picked up and put me back in the queue at 11:57. 2 hours and 34 minutes in and waiting. All the Navigators are gone.

I got picked up and put back into the queue after being on hold for about 2 hours. My hold is now at 2:30 since I got through the "please call back later" and I don't feel any closer to booking this than I was 5 hours ago when I started calling. This is so frustrating.

Got picked up and put back in again about 20 minutes ago. I'm expecting all the veranda cabins to be gone before they get back to me.

Would you all mind sharing what the draw for these cruises are from your perspective? We have never been on one but did love our Wonder cruise and have a Treasure cruise booked for January. It’s just they are already very expensive and with the members cruise being even more money im trying to figure out what the draw is? Do you get a bunch of stuff, is it the entertainment offerings etc? Thanks for helping me better understand and decide if we should start a fund to save up, lol.

BTW no mention to me about the $50 stateroom credit. Any one else hear that?
I did. But I got in super early and was able to pay without any issue so I think they maybe have been forgetting it as the problems have been mounting.

I've never been on one, but what sold me is the special entertainment. I know that Susan Egan and Paige O'Hara have been on past cruises and both performed and gave talks. I also am interested in the Imagineers they sometimes invite onboard for talks. And you do get a LOT of swag.
