Our family is going to Universal and Disney from Dec. 20-24. We ressies at The Wilderness Lodge for Dec 22 and 23. Our 7-day passes only have one day left so which park would you choose to see at Christmas and why? Our other day will be spent at the waterpark (if its warm enough).:listen:

Christmas or any other day, if I could only see one park, it would be MK. To me that is the essence of Disney.

If I only gad one day I'd pick MK. I'm not sure how Christmasy Animal kingdom could get...we'll find out in December. MGM would be neat just because you'd see what Hollywood could do for Christmas. Epcot would be neat to see for the Christmas around the World Showcase displays. I can't help but feel that MK IS Disney and that is why it would be my choice.

I think Epcot is decorated beautifully for the Holidays.. and one not to be missed.. :D

I would choose Epcot. Tha lights at night are beautiful and there is the candlelight processional. Each county has a holiday storyteller as well.

I agree. Epcot and MK. At Epcot, along with the things the others above mentioned, the walkway between future world and the world showcase has a huge structure erected over it. Hang out for a few minutes as when the music plays, there is a great light show within the structure (like the fountain the goes to the music). It was one of our favorite things that we saw over xmas last year!

Please tel me about the candlelight processional. Is it only nearer to Christmas, or all the month of December?
Epcot is my favorite park, but we've never been to WDW at Christmastime before.

Thanks :)

I am sure that someone can give you dates etc, but it does take place during the month of Dec. There are different narrators each night. In 2001 we saw Wayne Brady and he was great. You can reserve a dinner pkg. which gets you a reserved seat, the show is free.It is a wonderful show.
