What new scents will be in Soarin?

I was told by the manager of soarin at dl during an abd backstage tour that there will be two new scents: grass and flowers. My guess for flowers is the tulip fields, but I'm sure there are also other famous flower locations.

I would guess lavender over lavender fields of France.

But they are replacing the projection equipment with brand new. I can foresee them removing the remaining equipment.
The scent delivery system is part of the ride vehicle itself, not the projection equipment.

I hope they at least retain the music (Which I know they probably won't) That music is just perfect.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they fly over some paper mills so that we can enjoy the wonderful aroma.

Right. Love the music but there's no way they can do an entire new movie and retain the same music. Can you imagine the difficulty in trying to match the scenes to the music?

The smells is part of what makes soarin feel so real. I don't see them eliminating it just because it's easy.

There's a ton of smells they could do, but until we see what the scenes are its hard to know. I would think the pine smell could be recycled for the alps.

If they have a scene of Washington DC I would guess they could go with the smell of a nasty swamp.

There's no reason to think that they would get rid of the scents...I'm sure that's not anything for them to keep that in tact..Or add a few...

Like watching Smellavision...
