What Music Does Your Ice Cream Truck Make?

Ok . . .the ice cream truck has been coming by every day now since the begining of Summer. What ever happened to the jingle of bells it used to have?

Our ice cream truck plays very obnoxious<sp> music . . .its loud has some animal sounds and then after the last quack of an annoying duck some shrill woman's voice goes HELLO then it repeats and keeps repeating . . .it's enough to drive one insane!

What kind of music does your ice cream trucks play?

We don't tend to get very many ice cream trucks around here... in fact I can't remember the last one I heard! However, one I heard in the town where I work plays the Good, the Bad and the Ugly LOL very amusing for a while and then gets annoying cos' it was constant!!!

Ours rarely comes by, but Chris and I heard it last month. It was playing a discordant (horror movie) version of Brahm's Lullaby!!!!! We were incredulous! Then we started laughing hysterically. I wish I'd video-taped it. It was creepy and funny!

And what's funny is as it was going by about a week ago my mom told me a story of how she and my sister hummed that the whole way to the hospital when she went in to labor with me.[/color]

We have two ice cream trucks that visit our neighborhood, both are just generic trucks.

Whatever happened to the good old Mr. Softee, Good Humor or the Jack and Jill ice cream trucks? Are they even around anymore?

We have one that plays a medley of songs. But the ones that crack us up are the Christmas songs among them. And my neice always claims that the Christmas songs are not fair to the Jewish kids that might want to buy ice cream!!!
