Floated by on the blue route last week. Forgot to take pics while gawking... Hehe. Snapped this one from Ft Wilderness dock.

Asked boat skipper how many stories when done ... He wasn't sure, but said he heard 7 (current height) or 10.

It's big and it's close to ft wilderness. ( ... probably not news to anyone, something to see first hand)

I agree it's too big too close too .... everything.

I really hate the move to towers. I think it really kills the vibe. You gotta ask is LL really needed? The parks are already way past capacity. I get the DVC is very attractive from a business perspective. However, Long waits at boats and monorails should give the execs a clue that adding more rooms is not going to help guest experience. It will hurt. But I bet I'm in the minority here.

I agree with you I don't see the need for this when we have cfw, ccv and brv. I think they should be a little more creative, but I haven't seen it yet so maybe it will be quite different, I trust them

DVC development decisions are not made becuase existing owners need the new resorts. They are made because Disney needs new owners.

I’ve read repeatedly over the years that most people in the parks come from offsite. Disney wants a bigger piece of that pie.

Meaning i enjoy all of the hotels, even the ones that aren't my favorite are beautiful
