After almost 60 years of living in NY I'm quite happy to be living in Florida. I do miss a few things, but nothing I can't live without.

The energy, culture, dining, theater, green spaces & PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

Some of the best years of my life were living on the Upper West Side of Manhattan~

Now that we live in the suburbs we really enjoy the mountains, Lake Placid, apple picking & horse farms.

Pizza and bagels. I found that out after I moved from NY to Texas, but now I am back in NY again,..oh and the YANKEES!! The beaches my ds would say.

I live in NY and I can't stand NYC. Granted there is alot of stuff to do and see there, but I just don't love it when I'm there, or have an overwhelming desire to go down to the city like alot of people I know.

And the Hudson Valley, Niagara Falls, Saratoga, Lake George. NY is so much more than just NYC, and I think all of it makes it great

Hmm, technically I am a jersey girl since I grew up there, the beaches in Jersey do have the best boardwalks though, but the beaches here in NY are really great.
