We are planning our first trip to WDW in March. It will be DW, DH (39), DD's (4& 6). We will be there for 6 1/2 days. What kind of park tickets would you buy? I thought I would get 6 hopper passes, thinking I didn't need the plusses, but I see that they don't sell those. I know that my DD's will need some rest time, but I think we will visit some parks more than once. Also would they enjoy Blizzard Beach or should we just park it at our resort pool for a day?
We are staying at the Dolphin.

Thank-you for any advice!!

Will you be making a return visit to WDW within a year? If you are, a Annaul Pass or Premium Annual Pass could be the better buy. I've heard the breakeven point for a AP is 8 days. So if you do a return trip within a years time you can have your passes paid for next trip. We will be doing 3 trips within one year to get the most out of our passes.

my first thought is they are a little young for most stuff but the kiddie areas at the waterparks but since you have the plusses anyway you could always see how tired you are and what you feel up to .I think the dolphin has a nice pool but do not know what their kiddie area would be like or if your kids are 'brave " enough to do slides and stuff( one of mine was, one wasn't). you can save the plusses but the problem with that is you need a really short trip to use up those left overs or have to keep buying plus tickets with options you do not use (imo) course we also go in value season when the weather is iffy so maybe if it were hotter we would use them up more easily

What I did for our trip was buy a 4 day Park Hopper with 1 plus. You can get those occassionally at TicketMania through the Mousesaver newsletter. It was really nice because we had a chance to relax on the waterpark day. We stayed as long as we had the energy. Around 3 or 4 we headed back to the hotel for an early night. Next day, we were back in the parks. My family is me (39), DH (45), DS (11) and DD (9).

You need to evaluate how much time you will actually be in the parks. We enjoyed the resort quite a bit because we took the afternoon break. (Us big ones needed our naps! )
