Just trying to find some common ground with some DVCers:

• Are you from the NYC area? Im from westchester county, ny
• Are you gay? have you been to gay days?
• Are you doing the Wine & Dine Half Marathon? I will be its my first race
• I tend to go late Feb to watch friends doing the Princess Half Marathon and If all goes well I usually go sometime Sept-Nov, this year as I said I'm running the Wine & Dine Half Marathon.
  My home resort is primarily Saratoga Springs, I did an add on at Bay Lake Tower

Not much common ground other than a love of WDW.

• We're from Kansas.

• Not gay, heterosexual, married 39 years. However, I have been at Magic Kingdom during gay days.

• Did the Wine and Dine Race last year, loved it! This year we're just enjoying the Food and Wine.

• Our home resorts our BCV and AKV, we always go for the Food and Wine Festival and try to go at least one other time a year.

1) from CA, not NY

2) i am not gay but after years and years in the music industry along with 2 music degrees i have many dear friends that are so i am a big supporter. i have indeed been to WDW for gay days in June about 3, maybe 4 times.

3) i'm not doing that race in particular this year but i'm always at the disneyland half (I'm legacy status) and usually do one WDW marathon or half marathon each year.

4) I own at SSR and purchased more at AKL

Originally I am from Boston, not too far from NY. No marathons for me, I am lucky to just amble around the parks these days, lol. Any month is a fine travel month for me! I find wonderful things about each month that I have traveled to WDW.

Home resorts for us would be OKW, BCV, BWV, VB and VGC. Yay!

I am originally from Wichita, KS, but now live in Texas with my husband. We just moved again (his job), and are getting settled in our new home.

We've never done a marathon. We've talked about the January half, but the last time we were there it SNOWED that day. Don't love running enough to go through snow. I need some motivation.

We are supposed to be there for F & W this year, but if my new job doesn't give me the days off, we'll have to cancel.

Our home resort is BWV, and then we added on at GCV. We would travel ANYTIME, but since I teach, I tend to stick to school breaks. Fortunately, I teach college so we get a longer Christmas break and are out early in May. So, even though we use school breaks, we try to beat the crowds so to speak.

- We live in a Suburb of Chicago
- Happily married for 12 years with 2 beautiful DDs (10 and 8 year olds)
- Have been to MVMCP once, MNSSHP once, and F&G Festival twice, next one we want to do is F&W Festival.
- Have been going to Disney since I was 9 years old, DH has been going since he was 7. Our girls have been there 7 times with the next trip planned for January 2012 to celebrate my DH's birthday (the rest of us have celebrated ours there, DH thought it was about time to celebrate his)
- We own at BLT but want to buy into BCV in the near future.
- We have been owners since September 2010 and very happy that we have done so

-owner since 2006 at SSR, will soon try out Bonnet Creek with in-laws Wyndham points, very soon to be empty-nesters so we can start going whenever we please instead of just when school is out.

• Are you gay? have you been to gay days? I am not, however both hubby and I are supporters of equal rights and thoroughly enjoyed meeting a bunch of Disboard members during this past Gay Days and have indeed made many new friends
• Are you doing the Wine & Dine Half Marathon? I will be its my first race Not this upcoming race but perhaps a future race if I can get off my rear-end and start to train!

We like to go end of Aug/Beg Sept as it's less busy but we've been in Feb and in May/June... we'd like to go in late Sept/early Oct one day

Hi! I am from Atlanta, GA. I am not gay, but my best friends and sisters in law are; I haven't been to Gay Days, but I'm hoping to go with my sisters-in-law and their beautiful daughter one day! 3. Not a runner. I'm a P90X'er.
4. I go all year (long weekends instead of a week at a time). But living in FL, we tend to stay away from the parks in the summer. Too hot. Favorite time to go...Dec, Jan & Feb.

I'm from So Cal originally, now raising our family in Utah.

Not gay but have been to Gay Days at Disneyland many times.

DH is a triathlete; hasn't done a Disney race.

Our home resort is SSR and I'd like to add on at the GCV.

1) I've never lived north of the 29th parallel, however my dad grew up in Queens.

2) yes; Gay Days is not a favorable time for us to visit but I attended this past year. For us, May and December lend themselves much better for long-range planning along with the week or so before Labor Day.

3) I'm not really built for running!

4) Our home resort is VWL. We have started our DVC membership by "touring" the resorts, but we are getting a bit "homesick" so will be planning another VWL stay next year!

Have 150pts at BWV and 250 at BLT. We have stayed at BWV, BCV. VWL, AKV, BLT, VGC, and soon Aulani.
We prefer to go in May or October. We've been to F&G, F&W, MNSSHP, and MVMCP.
