What job would you *NOT* want at Disney?

I would not want to work in Guest Services and have to deal with the public all day. People are so ridiculous and demanding nowadays.

I would love that job!! :-)

I would hate to clean the restrooms anywhere on property.

- Anything with the animals in Animal Kingdom!! I'm so allergic I wouldn't make it through the first day. :faint:
- Cleaning the bathrooms/any kind of filth. I can barely do that where I currently work.
- Anywhere in the Magic Kingdom. I want the secrets of that park to remain a secret!

Top three only, since there's always something wrong with any job if you look hard enough.

Jungle Cruise operator for sure! I'm so not extroverted enough for that, I just couldn't do it.

I've also thought about how rough it must be to be those poor people that stand out in the sun all day directing the cars in the parking lots.

Reservations - I just can't understand some foreign accents over the phone and had a horrible time back in college when I worked in the Res. Life office and had to help foreign students before they would arrive. I felt so terrible that I couldn't understand them. Karma got me though when I fell in love with one of them and decided we should get married...

Food Service - Been there. Done that. Never care to do it again.

Anything with Horses - I have a completely irrational fear of horses. I would get fired in the first 5 minutes for refusing to get within 50 feet of a horse.

Upper Management - Everyone sells out eventually if they get a high enough job in a company. I would hate for my heart to turn cold and loose sight of the magic.

Washing the buses! On my last trip to WDW, I got talking to a bus driver about the new color scheme (grey and black) for the buses. She said that one thing she liked was that the buses didn't show dirt so much. The current buses, being white, get washed every night, she told me. So I wouldn't want to be one of those at the main bus depot, washing buses.

The parking lot attendants is very good. Same reasons I did not like the speedway I would not like that either. Although at least the attendants are not inhaling fumes all day as they are consistently moving away from cars.

Anything that pays less than $15 per hour. That will eliminate about 95% of the park jobs.:earsboy:

I would have to agree w this. But Disney is partly at fault here. People pay soooo much just to be there. They feel like they should be catered to and thnk they are "owed" what ever they want bc they go off on a rant.

I would stay away from any Cashier job. Resort, Rest or in any of the Parks.

Would not want to be the one to tell a family "Sorry Your Credit Card Was Declined"

Disney Junior stage show or play and dine meal at Hollywood and vine! Being at these places gave me a huge headache. I only did it for my kids and am bracing to do it again in January.

I would be fine with just about any other job. I love people so that is not and issue and being in a costume and making a child light up would make my day!!!
