I wore the Fantasyland (not so bad) and Tomorrowland (yuck!) costumes when I did the CP at WDW. Although I think I got lucky because I didn't have to work in Adventureland. They have it the worst, what with the fugly MC Hammer parachute pants in a pattern that looks like someone puked out
I've had a variety of dresses as a nurse, and different colour scrubs as a midwife. One hospital laundry would take our blue scrubs and send back thin white ones instead. Not flattering: I don't like my knickers to be so on show! (honest)
Now I wear my own clothes with an enormous standard-issue anorak. Much better.
I wore above the knee blue culottes with a thin white stripe down the sides, red and white striped, short sleeve knit top, white straw hat, white knee socks and black shoes for my job as an operator of "It's a Small World" ride at WDW many years ago. These uniforms are no longer used.
I haven't worn a uniform since I was a teenager/college student working at
Bob's Steaks N Stuff - brown and white plaid tops, brown cords
Chuck E. Cheese's - yellow,brown and orange polyester & a giant rat costume
G.D. Ritzy's - white shirt, little black bow tie
Village Inn Pizza - I have no idea what I wore
I will never wear a uniform again unless I am flying an airplane. If I am ever flying an airplane, somebody needs to call the authorities and have the cockpit stormed. I won't have a gun.
I worked at the Disney Store in the day of the awful Grey skirt then it went to the turquoise and royal sweater with Khaki shorts Panty Hose and white socks then I worked at a stadium resturant where we wore Ref shirts and black shorts
I have had many uniform type jobs but my favorite were when I worked at an entertainment company in while I was in college. I got to dress as Ariel, Belle, Barbie, Minnie Mouse (head and all) and a variety of other characters and entertain at children's parties (games, sing, facepaint, animal balloons etc.) It was alot of fun!
i worked at blockbuster for 3 years, had to wear that ugly navy blue polo shirt and kahki's. worked at subway, wore the green polo and black pants. worked at a gift shop, and it was green polo and either kahki or black pants/shorts.
worked at Wegmans and had to wear the worst button up shirt either blue or red and black pants. during the summer it was better, i got to wear a t-shirt and pants.
