What items have you noticed have gone missing in stores recently?

Yep, it’s so random. Something different every week. I go to either Wegmans or Tops. Wegmans seems to have more supply issues than Tops does. For example, I’ll notice pasta & paper plates empty at Wegmans. Go right across the street to Tops & the shelves are full. I also noticed Wegmans has a lot of brands I’ve never heard throughout the store.

My biggest challenge is always the produce section. You never know what you're going to get. However, I haven't had any trouble with onions.

My husband got a bottle of Welch's red grape juice this past weekend. It was the first we've had since before the pandemic started.

Still not finding anything missing, but the packaging might be weird - out of a gallon of milk, but fully stocked on the half gallons.

I am still able to maintain my 75 - 100/week on groceries - my older son moved out this week so with next weeks order, I should see it stay, consistently, nearer 75 (plus tip...). He was ever only wanting a few things - low carb wraps, good salami, provolone cheese, and lots of black beans. That should eliminate about 20/week or more. Will see what happens when farmers markets are done, too.

My younger son goes in spurts of what he wants - this next order is Babybel and some kind of Pop Tarts. Last week it was stuff for greek chicken and some breakfast sausage. :sad2:

You know what's missing? The glimmer in the usual Wal-Mart employee's eye after months of working there. People go from chipper to completely crestfallen.

Maybe what's missing is the person we used to be, and the day-to-day toil only drives us further from that person. Until the day comes where we no longer remember who we were.

Oh I'm just joshin' ya. I couldn't find Gatorade Zero either!

I'm finding the supply of raisins to be weird. I specifically purchase the cylinder of raisins with the lid. Most of the time I always get the store brand, no matter which store I'm in and it's rare that I get the Sunmaid brand. I find, actually, that the store brand, especially Wegman's, have plumper/fresher raisins. Anyway, the supply for raisins has been spotty. I can always get them, but not always in the large container that I like. Sometimes I have to get the smaller box. Costco always has the twin bags of organic raisins but that's way more than I need and they get really dried up before I can use them. But, it has been WEEKS since I've been able to get the house brand at all. The shelves for them are empty. One week there was nothing at all but the tiny boxes--and this was at just about every store I go to during the week. It's just so odd.

I do not see to many things missing but boy have the stores around me stopped with sales. Have a good amount of stores around me so I can usually find Sause/tomatoes, bread, condiments, pasta whatever else on sale in one store or another. Now I never see pasta for example in any store on sale.

i can only find good sales by what i've come to refer to as 'easter egg hunting'. the stores still put out ads but it's on stuff that's too overpriced to begin with (and on meat-they will do a 'b.o.g.o.' sale but double the supposed regular price so it's no net savings ). the deals i find are unadvertised and sprinkled throughout the store vs. the old tradition of having them on the end caps. i think they lost people (for shelf stable) to online shopping during the pandemic and people are continuing to minimize their time in the stores due to inflation. if they hide the deals it encourages people to come and walk up and down each aisle (so you have to resist the impulse buys when you are on your hunt).

Refills for my Xyron machine. Absolutely none to be found anywhere. (It's a contraption used for applying adhesive to things. I use it in scrapbooking). I scoured the internet back in the spring and found some at an online office supply store at a decent price and ordered 4. That was at least 4 months ago. They said expect in August and now they aren't sure when. The lady at the scrapbook store says she has some on back order and she is told they are backed up in China.

Totally a non imperative item. Definitely not like being out of baby or formula or something. But irritating beyond belief to still be looking after all these months.

International Delight Coffee Creamer, Almond Joy. Has been missing for over a month now! I’ve been to at least 6 stores, different Acme’s, Shop Rite and Wal Mart. South Jersey here. :guilty:

Can't find Orville Redenbacher Smart Pop! in full bags. I can get the mini, but we want the large. We need the large.
