What items have you noticed have gone missing in stores recently?

I stopped at Publix today to see if the Paczki were available (they had King Cakes but no Paczki yet) and I noticed the pasta and cracker aisles were empty again. Soup was low, but they were restocking while I was there. Ground beef was low, but available.

I've been running into this problem as well since August. Some days there is only Gatorade Zero, other days there is none to be found. I have found it really just depends on the week/
I use Instacart to see if Gatorade is available in the stores. It's always out of stock.

I've had a hard time finding cream cheese, pork tenderloin, turkey of any kind except cold cuts, and cinnamon rolls.

Pillsbury products. Walked past a nearly empty shelf of them the last time I was at the grocery store.

So funny. My sister just called me after stopping at the local Wegmans not 10 minutes ago. Pillsbury products are full but no orange cinnamon rolls. I had mentioned I was looking for them. I did read on the Pillsbury site that they are temporarily unavailable. She mentioned there was no cream cheese, but she had also gone to BJs & it was fully stocked.

I went to Publix today -

The ONLY frozen French fries they had of ANY kind were about 3 bags of the Arby’s brand.

I needed tator tots, & there were none in any brand.

Just completely empty shelves in the frozen potato section.

They were also completely out of the taco seasoning packets of ANY brand.

After weeks of being out, they had some Pillsbury canned biscuits - but they were still out of the orange rolls.

Our Publix is finally getting decent stock back of Capri Suns - they’ve been either really low or completely out for a while now, & it looks like maybe their stock is coming back up.

We try to keep 6-8 Gatorades at our house. (I’ll drink one when I have a migraine.). My favorite flavor is the lemon-lime, & stores around here have been out for months now. The stores finally have some citrus flavor (orange), but I haven’t seen the lemon-lime in forever.

Anything Jimmy Dean

Canned cat food

My grocery delivery orders are like the scene from the movie Friday....

Craig Jones:
We ain't got no sugar.
Smokey:
No sugar?...Y'all ain't never got two things that match. Either ya got Kool-aid, no sugar. Peanut butter, no jelly. Ham, no burger.

we were at pick and save looking for chop suey veggies shelves were totally empty of any kind of canned chineese veggies--they used to carry Roundys brand until Kroeger took them over now all you get is la choy

anyways went to a hispanic store on the way home--get everything we needed to make the chop suey there

It's odd that the stuff missing is bad for you.

I know this is an old thread but we went to the grocery store today and I couldn’t find about 8 things on my list. I will pick up a few extra of these when we find them.

Random things go missing now. I've had trouble finding certain varieties of berries in the past. The produce section at my grocery stores have shrunk, so now I have to do more shopping.

Yep, it’s so random. Something different every week. I go to either Wegmans or Tops. Wegmans seems to have more supply issues than Tops does. For example, I’ll notice pasta & paper plates empty at Wegmans. Go right across the street to Tops & the shelves are full. I also noticed Wegmans has a lot of brands I’ve never heard throughout the store.

I noticed the same thing at Wegman's last night. Hardly a box of pasta (and a number of other items) to be found. I made a joke to my husband about how it looked like early stages of pandemic inside. I have noticed that Shaw's in our area is similar, but Market Basket always seems to be fully stocked, even in the early pandemic times (as much as they could be).

Our local shoprite has a shelf tag for fresca in 6 pack bottles. Talked to Coke guy, he said he has been working for Coke for 5 months and have yet to see a 6 pack of Fresca. It comes in cans and large bottles, just not the 6 pack of 16 oz bottles.

certain types of pasta-in particular multi colored rotini. went to 4 or more stores and none to be found. other items they seem to have gotten large back orders on so i've caught some excellent sales. a brand of pasta sauce was (pre pandemic) going for $3.99 a jar (i bought it sparingly and waited for it to go on sale at $2.99). store got a big order and to keep from having to store them put them out for $2.50-SCORE, i bought a large quantity. with the exception of the turkey and perishables i've already gotten all my thanksgiving and christmas non perishables which i'm thinking many are doing b/c those items (they carry them year round) are starting to look slim on the shelves.

As of this later date, our local family owned stores stock everything.
But Target has had a lot of empty shelves throughout this period. Now they don't have much peanut butter, especially Jif, which I love. Their store brand is really good too.
We run into empty shelves at Target a lot, but it's usually one type of item at a time. Otherwise, all is back to normal here in N. Mn.

I do not see to many things missing but boy have the stores around me stopped with sales. Have a good amount of stores around me so I can usually find Sause/tomatoes, bread, condiments, pasta whatever else on sale in one store or another. Now I never see pasta for example in any store on sale.
