What items have you noticed have gone missing in stores recently?

This week at Wal Mart there were only twin packs of cream cheese and zero pasta. Oh and no Coke Zero which seems to be hit and miss most weeks anyways. We had to stop by another store on the way home to grab those and they were fully stocked.

Interestingly, antacid tablets. The cold medicine I can understand, but suddenly everywhere I go, the antacid shelves are very bare, with only the "special" TUMS flavors remaining (sugar free, etc.). Funny part is that TUMS, at least, are local here, so I guess that's why we still can at least get that brand to some extent.

My Hannaford store constantly looks like a store in a post apocalyptic movie. Then I go to a different store up the road and it's just fine. I have no idea what is going on with their supply chain but apparently other stores in the area don't have the same issues as they do.

NJ here - the only thing I haven't been able to find are the refrigerated cinnamon rolls.

We have plenty of cream cheese!

We were unable to find chicken tender cuts this week, they only had breasts (which we had to cut). I heard they might be becoming hard to find because so many people use them for chicken tender meals. :confused3

went to 3 different stores in search of some frozen breakfast meals. got one in the household on a soft food regime due to dental surgery and we've found that these provide the highest protean/lowest sugar options. shelves for frozen meals in general are pretty bare, and diet foods in particular are almost non existent.

Went to a Price Chopper in Upstate NY yesterday, no Cheez-It at all but lots of cream cheese. Went to a Hannaford this AM and plenty of Cheez-It but no cream cheese.

Have not had any major issues - just got back from a quick food shopping. Philadelphia cream cheese - just the block - one size. I ton of the Store brand Bowl & Basket in the bowl. None of the tubs for the name brand or any with spices in them. Nothing -

Frozen potatoes (fries, tater tots, hash browns)
Canned dough products - crescent rolls, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, etc. - just a few options in the case
Fresh chicken - almost the entire section was empty at my local Meijer's recently.
Sliced wheat bread - the store brand I usually buy is often not in stock, but there are others to choose from.

I haven't noticed a shortage of pasta or cream cheese in my area.

Chocolate graham crackers (haven't seen them for almost a year), saltines, Rice Krispies, and Pillsbury crescent rolls. My son wanted pigs in a blanket for the Superbowl, which I make with the crescent rolls. This year our pigs were wrapped in breadsticks instead....

Pasta, especially Lasagna noodle. I went to 3 stores before finding just 2 boxes (bought 1). The stores did have a couple of boxes the paraboiled kind.

Just back from shopping (Sam's Club, Von's, Smart & Final)

No refrigerated cinnamon rolls (a few packages of dinner rolls, though).
A small assortment of cream cheese at Von's.
No whole cashews at Sam's Club - they had cashew halves & pieces.
No beef bologna, either.
Got bologna at Smart & Final and looked for cashews. They only have house branded nuts - no cashews)
We did find saltines last week at Smart & Final.
Still can't find any caffeine free Coke or Pepsi (regular, not diet).

This was an odd one. Yesterday, I as at an airport in Florida. The particular terminal I was in had two shops that sold books. and I needed a book. Well, the book displays/stock were VERY picked over. I perused each store twice before finally picking something to buy. Really, the displays for books were only half full. Lots of bare shelf. When I went to pay, the clerk said he hadn't sold a book in a while because of the low stock and was surprised but happy that I found something.
So, if you are going to fly soon, bring extra reading material.

I HATE trying to do grocery shopping
I’m hitting up 5 or 6 stores trying to buy items websites for stores can’t be trusted - always wrong - online ordering waste as out of stock even though listed in stock when place order
Very frustrating - great for dieting but not so much for my picky kitty

Last week at my local Meijer, they had the fresh chicken case completely stocked. Hadn't seen that in months. I felt like I should buy some even though we didn't need any. I resisted.
