Several things...

I'm the operations manager for a 38 store retail chain. I deal with everything from dead racoons fried to engine blocks of our trucks to settling arguements over who gets to use our company mascot for their big sales event in two weeks.

It's almost like running a day care, but my "kids" are all potty trained and taller than the average three year old.

I also deal with any legal matters involving the stores, plus all of our advertising (including creating graphics), insurance, truck accidents, business licenses, you name it. I also review all incoming resumes and pass those that fit various criteria on to hiring managers. Really a jack of all trades.

Then there's my other job, I'm on staff for a local music newspaper, writing concert reviews, CD reviews, and interviewing various artists.

I also write freelance for several national publications on the same type of topics.

And I've also got a freelance photography business where I do concert photography.

I'm a real estate agent and I'm in the process of developing a home decorative accessory website (waiting on my first shipment to arrive!). I also do pre-foreclosure work for lenders on the side.

I'm not the only one who contributes to our playtime though!

DH is a career firefighter and a licensed real estate inspector.

I am a retired Psychologist from the USAF and had the good sense to marry a man who is retired from construction up in Potomac, Maryland.
