What is your limit?

Really? Can you teach me your special powers??? We won't stand in line long either because we are normally there for a week and we come back every year. But next time we are going with some newbies and i would love to learn how you do it? Do you just avoid the summer altogether? Unfortunately that is the only time we all can go because my mother is a teacher at a private school and cannot get the time off.

It's true I usually go in off-peak seasons (September and February)...although I did go May this year. I haven't been to WDW in the summer since I was a kid, but when I worked there in the summer of 2001, my "special powers" worked just as well. Wow I get to be a Disney Superhero...gotta remember not to wear a cape ;)

I waited 2 hours for Splash Mountain once, but it was in June and Splash was relatively new. I don't think I'd ever wait that long again for any ride. But, then again, I wouldn't ever go in June again, either. Off-season, baby! :) When we went last October, the longest we waited was probably 15 minutes and that was only once or twice.

It has to be something really special for me to wait more than 30 minutes. The first time I went was in July, though, which meant huge lines for everything and I couldn't believe how much we missed waiting in line! Now I go off-peak which is much more bearable.

30 minutes is about the most. Unless it's something we just HAVE to do. But I have yet found the posted line wait time and actual time is the same. So.....

we will wait in a line where the sign states 30 minutes, it's yet to be that long unless there was a problem with the ride.

Last May we waited 50 minutes for the Pooh ride we misread the sign which we thought said only 5 minutes! My 1st trip to WDW 1994 during Easter Week we waited 2hrs. for Splash Mountain but those were before FP.

5 minutes? ;) Wouldn't that be nice?! 20 minutes seems like enough. But like you, I would wait an hour if there were no other choices. I just did that this past weekend at Holiday World in Indiana. TG for FP :)

I won't get in a line with a posted time over 20 minutes. I generally will skip it if the time is over 10-15. Luckily, this doesn't happen a whole lot since we get there early and utilize the heck out of FP.

We, like so many others here, won't usually join a line if its posted wait is longer than 20 minutes.

We waited about 40 minutes for Everest on our last trip, but that wan't because of the line. It was our last day and we went to AK with the sole purpose of riding Everest. It was broken at park opening, so I sent Nikkie to get FastPasses, and we decided to stick it out in the Standby line. Most people just got FastPasses and left. Finally, at about 9:30, they got the ride up and running, and we got on about 9:40. The nice thing is, after we rode, we got right back in the Standby line again because so many people had left the area and the wait time was listed at 70(!) minutes despite the fact that it was a walk on.

Normally about half an hour. I did hop in a TT line that said 40 minutes one time that ended up being about an hour and fifteen minutes and I stuck it out.

But I did wait two and a half hours to meet Chewbacca (the character, not actually Peter Mayhew) one time at MGM. :)

Before this past trip, I'd wait maybe 20-30 minutes, not anymore though. We used the TourGuideMike method in July so we generally waited 0-5 minutes!

If the posted wait is over 10 or 15 minutes, I'll probably pass. It kind of depends on the ride- I would totally get in a 20 minute line for Everest, but not Peter Pan.

20 minutes, tops. Even 10 is tough. But we're die-hard early risers and TGM converts, so maybe we've earned the right to be spoiled. Drives me bananas to see people standing in long, long lines, particularly when I'm FP'ing my way past them. Then I remember -- it's those line-lovers that keep things open for the rest of us . . . so I say a silent "thank you" and just keep on moving along.

For us, I think 30 minutes is the limit. Our kids can't be patient for longer than that, and besides, there are so many other things to do in the parks than stand in line! I wanted to ride Soarin in June when we were there, but the wait was 2 hours and FP was gone for the day! Maybe next time!!!! :)

we waited 55 mins too meet cinderella when we were there at MK.would do it again after seeing the look on my daughters fast. only bad part was we when too MGM the next morning and walked right in too see her and 7 others (Mickey and Minnie) we got over a half hour with them all no lines. but as for the rides theres alot of was not too stand in lines but in the mornings i will take the lines for get the night 90 min plus lines

I'm totally spoiled from having worked there. While it was only a temp. internship, I hated to wait more than 20 minutes because I knew that I'd be able to come back the next day or the day after that. Now I'd say no more than 30 unless it's one of my favorite attractions (like ToT) or it's the last day and I really need to ride. Even then, I wouldn't wait longer than an hour.

Depends how much I want to go on the attraction really...I actually don't mind waiting in most lines. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to join a 60 minute+ line for my favorite attraction. My personal longest however was 150 minutes (Splash Mtn), though I have seen up to a 5 hour wait once (now I probably wouldn't do that!).

We never wait for anything unless it's 20 mins or less....otherwise we fastpass it :Pinkbounc
