What is your favorite moderate resort?

SO glad to read your review on CBR, we have switched there to save $$ but in the past had read awful reviews. I have read up on it a lot more now and hear that the pool at CBR is great, and we will use the pool a lot..going in Sept! The thing that I'm most bummed about are the double beds but I think we'll survive, LOL

Yay...I'm glad you found it helpful :)

I have to go with POR. we loved it. the grounds are beautiful, It is spread out so you feel like at times you are the only ones there. Old Man Island is very nice Pool/playground/bar area. Food court as well. The River Roost Lounge It is a piano sing-a-long comedy routine with Bob. Thats a lot of fun. Kids got a kick out of it. Boat takes you to DTD. I'm sure in you research your gonna find negatives about the buses!! But we never had an issue. We are staying at CBR in November, mainly because DS want to stay in the Pirate room. But I wouldn't mind going back to POR...

We love CBR! We have stayed there the past 5 times (3 with kids). It feels like a tropical paradise. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. It never seems crowded. The kids loved the main pool with the slides and kid play area. The buses have usually been great. We really have never had a problem there and are looking at a June 2014 trip. CBR will be our choice again!

We also like CBR---love the tropical feel of this resort. We did stay at FWC also and weren't thrilled with this one. Is quite expensive compared to the other mods....and we found it to be very spread out and far from the buses...not convenient o get around.

I went through the same thing when deciding on where to stay this year. We had stayed at pop and dh wanted to make sure next time we have a bigger room and bed, so I did ten same thing and compared the moderates.

I ended up choosing por, we skipped csr which was my original choice due to its size and the convention thing it was lacking that Disney feel. Skipped cbr due to the beds being doubles and cause we live in s fl so tropical feel is something we get a lot of around here, pofq was the next choice to make and after picking apart both po resorts riverside seemed a better fot for my family

I guess my point is take all suggestions into consideration but don't forget to use your family's specific needs and preferences when making your decision :hippie:
