What is your favorite eye shadow?

I'm Christmas shopping for DD (17). She loves makeup. We use Bare Minerals makeup and various eye makeups. What is your favorite? Where do you usually buy it? I'm putting together a makeup box.

I like Clinique eyeshadow. My absolutel favorite was Reflect eyeshadow (www.reflect.com), but they went out of business.

A 17 year old would love Mac shadows - as well as Too Faced shadows.

Both are highly pigmented and absolutely wonderful!

I agree. Mac is the favorite of the kids but I like it too.

But I also buy Urban decay when I am feeling naughty.

I LOVE Urban Decay. Fun, shimmery colors (though I had a Clinique consultant tell me, 3 years ago at age 31, that I was too old for the shimmer )

I actually hate Clinique. I think their colors stink, are barely pigmented and stay on like garbage.

Tell her to bite me that's because Clinique can't get the shimmer thing down at all.

I love my Silver Urban Decay eye shadow and I am 43!
I don't wear makeup often but when I do- I like to go big!

NO I never did. Did you get it at ULTA? I got mad at the manager at Ulta and refused to buy anything. I did not get a coupon and he would not let me use the one he had sitting on the counter. (even though all my friends got one in the mailer they send each week). He screwed himself out of over 150.00 sale.

Now I want it.

By the way Cathryn Rose, do you remmeber the name of the make up thread we had going? I cannot pull it up b/c I do not remember it. This would be a good time to bring it back what with Christmas and the holidays just around the corner.

You know - my absolute favorite shadow - and not many people even know about it is TiGi Bedhead's line. Its better than MAC, IMO....

Hard to find though, too.
