Our dogs were named after characters, Mickey and Minnie.

I wanted to name our daughter Disney Anne, but my wife thought it was ridiculous and gave birth to twin boys instead.

We have a cat named Simba.

So do we. We also have one named Tigger. We used to have 2, we got them together, we named Lady and Tramp (OK, they were cats, not dogs, but for Disney nuts, it's OK). We also had Lucky, named for one of the dalmation puppies in "101 Dalmations" (yes, another cat).
I'll bet lots of people here have named their pets after Disney characters.

When my nephew was born in 2000 another Mum in the hospital called her daughter Pocahontas!! Not a good choice I think, especially in the school yard.

We had two Hamsters, Mickey and MInnie . We had a cat named Tigger. My brother has a Pekinese (sp?) named Pooh.

If I were able to have another child (girl) her middle name would be Belle.

Dodger in my sig picture was named after Dodger from Oliver & Co. because he has the same coloring and markings. He won't ever quite be that big.

I had a cat named Sebastian. He was orignally my sister's cat, but when she moved into a rent house and couldn't take him so we adopted him.
