What is your favorite Character Moment?

I have two favorites.

When my DH and I went on our Honeymoon (1992), we started our trip with the Haunted Mansion. When we entered the room, my husband was right behind me. As everyone crowded in, I decided to back up and snuggle into him. Little did I know the CM leading us in, (they didn't talk back then) tapped him on the shoulder and changed places with him. When I turned around to look at him, I jumped SO badly. How he kept a straight face, I'll never know.

My other favorite is last year's visit to EPCOT. We stopped in Japan and ran into Mulan and Mushu. Mulan asked me if my boys (ages 10 and 11) were strong enough to be warriors. I told her, "I have no idea." She told me she would find out, and loudly commanded them, "Drop and give me 20." Both boys and Mushu did their 20 push-ups. I am so glad I had my video camera working.

These stories are so fun! I'll add another one.

My dd was so into Jasmine so before we left home she drew and colored a picture of Jasmine and Aladdin, etc. Then she told me she wanted to take it and give it to Jasmine. I carried that picture around just in case and we finally met her at our Princess breakfast in Epcot. I'm sure the characters get tons of these kinds of things but Jasmine was so nice and asked my dd to explain it to her and spent quite a while discussing it and thanking her. It made my dd's whole trip!

When my DD9 was 2, we just arrived at the world showcase at about 9:45. Perla was there standing by herself everyone just kept walking by. My DD went up to her with her autograph book and Perla picked DD up and started twirling around with her. They danced for about 15 minutes.

When my daughter was 5 (now 21) she was really afraid of the characters, however my 2 year old son (now 18) loved Chip and Dale. We were at 1900 Park Fare for a character breakfast and Goofy came to the table. My daughter screamed and went under the table. My husband and I were trying to coax her out when Mary Poppins (one of my daughter's favorite characters) came over to our table. Mary Poppins looked at us and asked why our daughter was under the table. We told her what had happened. She proceeded to pick up the tablecloth and said to my daughter - "It's not proper to be under the table." My daughter looked up and came out from under the table. She was thrilled that Mary Poppins came to see her. She talked to Mary Poppins a few minutes and had a big smile on her face. For the rest of our vacation my daughter talked about how Mary Poppins came to see her even though she was under the table.

It was on our very first trip to MK on my daughter's 4th birthday. She had on her birthday pin and Mickey "sang" happy birthday to her....it was so cute, he motioned the song with his hands and you could tell what he was doing so everyone started to sing with him...the look on my dd's face was so wonderful, made the whole trip worth it just to see that.
