What is your favorite bagel and how do you like to eat it?

Toasted poppyseed bagel, bit of cream cheese, tomato, lox and capers.

I treat myself to wild Alaskan salmon once a year, I buy it around Thanksgiving, this is my present to myself. The rest of the year I buy what they have in the store.

The dough is boiles in water sweetenned with honey and then baked in a wood oven ! Anything else is just cooked dough !

My favorite way to eat them is with cream cheese , smoked salmon , onion and capers ( and if I have fenell fonds I has it too !)

Other wise , toasted with butter !

Salt bagel...not toasted but warmed in the microwave with tons of cream cheese!!!

I don't eat them often due to watching my carbs....but on my BD Tuesday at work (I am in a BD club) I requested bagels instead of cake....If I am gonna blow my diet I would much rather with a bagel than cake!!

Fresh Poppy Seed (untoasted) with a generous amount of ice cold real butter. Second Place goes to a Fresh Plain (untoasted and scooped out) with lot's of real cream cheese, sliced Scottish Salmon Lox and thinly sliced onions on top. And then I wonder why I have to troop off to Sears to get the next waist size pair of jeans .

I am not big into cream cheese. I'm suprised how many of you like LOTS of it, LOL.

If I do have cream cheese, I like just a little triple berry on a toasted blueberry bagel; or veggie cream cheese on a toasted onion bagel.

Once in a while, I might make an egg, ham and cheese sandwich on an onion bagel. Those are good.

To me, a bagel is nothing more than a mere delivery system for cream cheese. I don't care what it is but I thickly HEAP cream cheese on it.

Cinnamon Crunch bagel from Panera with hazelnut cream cheese. Once when my parents were taking the kids someplace, I stopped and got a box for them to take with them. I could see my parents were very underwhelmed. When they got home, all they could talk about were those wonderful bagels! They had never had anything but frozen lenders and were really surprised to find that they liked bagels!

My second favorite would be an everything with veggie cream cheese.
