What is your average length of stay at WDW?

Our first trip (not including trips when I was a kid) was 10 days which we felt was too short. Since then each trip has been around 16-17 days.

Keep in mind that we are NOT morning people so we have never experienced a rope drop. Our days usually start with breakfast around 10 AM - 11 AM with the park soon after.

We also visit Sea World, the 2 Universal parks and occasionally Busch Gardens or Kennedy Space Center. There is also family in the area, so give 1.5 days for visits.

Our first trip (this past May) was 7 nights. We're planning a return trip next May, and are hoping for at least 10 nights - more if possible, we'll see how much we can afford and if they have any more great deals :)

Usually we've been about 10 days but 2010 we're going for 14 days and I am so excited! :woohoo: Airfare from Canada is pretty expensive so the longer the better!

I've gone on short trips that have been jump in the car and drive, making room ressies as we drive - they've been 4 days. Average growing up were 10-12 day trips, the past 4 years have been 13 days, 17 days, 19 days and next month 13 days.

We've done 9 nights, 5 night combo trip at POFQ plus 3 nights at Doubletree Universal & 10 nights. Our upcoming trip is a combo trip staying for 2 nights at HRH Universal & 11 nights at CSR:woohoo: We're also doing Discovery Cove & Seaworld on this trip. 5 nights was too short it was at Christmas & we didn't get to see or do all we wanted. The longer we stay, the better.

Our last trip with the boys was 8 days, and the one coming up will be 10 days. I would love to stay longer, but my husband isn't quite as much of a Disney nut as I am. :confused3

No less than 10 days. This year we are going for 15, we like the break days to rest and hang out at the pool.:goodvibes

Minimum 10 days but this time around we'll be there two weeks. We're from the West coast so we like the extended time in WDW since we don't go every year.

We will be going for 6 nights/5 days in October. Most of our trips are between 6-8 nights.

Our first trip was 8 days. We have done a couple 3 day trips. Mostly we do 7 nights 6 days.

Averages between 5-7 nights for us..... DH is a self-employed workaholic, so we'd never be able to do more than 7 :rotfl: Our upcoming trip is only 5 nights but 6 days because of our flights :thumbsup2

We usually stay 7 nights but this year are staying for 8. Can't wait!

Average trip legnth for us is 10 days. Our next trip is 11 and we have done 14 in the past (and that was too long to be away from my dogs).

It is such a long trip for us, we have to stay longer than a week. I wish we went more than once a year...maybe some day.

Okay, so I have been keeping a watchful eye on my post. After tallying up the answers given thus far, I have come to this conclusion...

The average length of stay at WDW seems to run 7-10 nights.

Followed in order by:

10-12 nights comes in 2nd place
5-6 and 14 nights are tied for 3rd place
3-4 nights
4-5 nights
3 weeks and loinger comes in last.

Usually 6 nights. Weekend nights are killers with DVC points, so usually I arrive Saturday and return Friday night so I only have 1 weekend night. My last trip was 7 nights, I added a night at the Swan.

Usual is about 7 days but we have an 10 day trip coming up. I would like to do a two week trip someday, but I'd throw in Seaworld and Universal too(especially once the Harry Potter park opens up).
