What is we're running late to an ADR?

How long will they hold your ADR if you're running late? I'm just curious if we need to be there exactly at or before our scheduled ADR, or if they will still honor our ADR if we show up 10-15 minutes late? I don't plan on being late, but I'm always dragging my kids and DH out of the house to get places on time. :rolleyes2

You are asked to check in for your ADR 15 min in advance. Generally, there is a grace period for ADRs of 15 minutes after the ADR time.

Truly it will probably depend on which restaurant.
Program the Dining number into your phone in case you get stuck because of Disney transportation. I know I left an hour before as requested and things were running slow and I JUST made my ADR.

So from then on I was at the park I needed to be at well in advance and if it was a resort, I took the time to tour the resort before dining. I don't like being late and many times things just happen.
I refuse to be running when on vacation. I don't like that feeling of rushing.

Disney now suggests you budget 90 minutes to make it to any ADRs.

OP--They won't hold your table indefinitely. 15 to 20 minutes seems to be the average length of time they will hold your spot until they consider you a no-show. And they request that you are at the restaurant 15 minutes before your scheduled time. You may want to keep in mind that now there is a $10 per person penalty for being a no-show to any ADR.

Maybe you need to fib that all of your meals are actually 30 minutes earlier than they really are!
