I am in the UK and I was looking up the time difference. Some places say FL is 5 hours behind the UK and some say 4 hours. Which is it please?

It's currently 4:52 PM EDT in Orlando :)

Would you be reading about the differences between Orlando and GMT as well? I know right now it is 4 hours difference from GMT but in the fall it will go back to 5 :)

If it is 4:52 there you are 5 hours behind at the moment - I got really confused with DST and GMT and then of course I realised we are on British Summer Time (BST) not GMT ...

AAAAAAaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!

Thanks for your help, just trying to work out what time we will land on Monday!

Yes, it is five hours behind. The US will switch back to Standard Time October 31, the same day the UK switches back to GMT. So the difference still will remain five hours.

I was in the UK in 1995, and the US and the UK were a week apart in their fall time changes. I forget which country switched time first, but it was confusing for my father who called me at the same time every week. I think the EU changed all that and now the UK changes time with the USA.

It's 6:44pm there now, the same time is it here in Maryland. I love living in the same time zone as Disney World! LOL :teeth:
