I don't make it a point of looking in people's windows, but one of the bedrooms in my house lines up with my neighbors. I saw a lot of movement in the room, which was odd. It was about 11 o'clock at night and we saw two police officers going through the room. We decided that someone must have been murdered there. Vivid imaginations 
Turns out that the neighbors, who owned a Chinese restaurant in town, had been followed home by some thief that realized they weren't taking their money to the bank after the restaurant closed. They had stolen an entire weeks worth of income. We only found out because the officers came over to our house to see if we had heard or seen anything suspicious and told us what happened.
