Hey everyone. Thanks for those of you who gave some great advise about Fort Wilderness. Got back last weekend from our first trip there and was VERY impressed with the campgrounds. We got lucky and got site 116, which I believe may just be the best site in the entire park!

Question for you. We got there on Friday afternoon. Consiquently, by friday night we were pretty tire. We did the campfire sing-a-long, the sacked out pretty early. Around 10:00 we were all awakened by some very loud music and what sounded like about 20 minutes of fireworks. The next morning we all agreed to burn the mid-night oil and make it up to 10:00 to see what all the hoop-la was about. Short story long- we made it up to see the Parade of Lights at the beach at about 9:50. But it lasted about 10 minutes, and although very nice, it was not the event that woke us the night prior. Does anybody know if they do something special or different on Fridays nights? Any explaination for the 10:00 fireworks?
