What is the funniest "not quite right" name for an attraction you have heard?

My kids call Dumbo "Bumbo" - very cute.

Although not an attraction, once my Dad messed up the name of a Disney movie. I was watching The Adventures of Huck Finn (produced by Disney). He walked in and asked if I was watching "Mrs. Finn Mexican Woman" somehow confusing Huck Finn with Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman or something!

A couple of years ago when my daughter was 3.5 we stayed at the POFQ and she loved the theme of the pool so much.

When we were in MK and would ask her what she would like to do next she said "l want to go to the water park". That meant back to the resort pool!

My son never goes to see the Indiane Jones Stunt Show, oh no, he goes to the Harry Jones Show..............have never established just why he decided thats what its called :confused3

I am sure lots of people call rides by different names not because they are ignorant but because of inside family jokes.
I know we call Spaceship Earth....the Big Ball or The Epcot Ball.

We will ALWAYS call Hollywood Studios....MGM. Sorry but that is an old habit and lots of memories as MGM.

My son calls the monarail..."the train"

there is lots more....but you get the idea.

My son never goes to see the Indiane Jones Stunt Show, oh no, he goes to the Harry Jones Show..............have never established just why he decided thats what its called :confused3

Likely because 'Indiana' Jones is actually Henry Jones, Jr. and Harrison Ford is the actor.

Henry + Harrison = Harry :rotfl:

Read though 5 pages and so far haven't seen this one.... my hubby, for whatever reason, called "Soarin",:rotfl2: Soarinson! Like someone's name. My daughter and I tease him to this day about it unmercifully! We bought him a keychain with the "Soarin" name on it so he doesn't forget. We call it his "Soarinson" keychain.

It's long gone, but the sky way to tomorrowland will always be sky buckets.

Talking to my dad about his trip right now:

Test Car Ride = Test Track

Tour of Fear = Tower of Terror

Photo Press = Photo Pass

My DS8 to this day calls EE, "Beware the Yeti".

As a kid my mom called BTM "the run away train" then on trip then I was 20 I went for the first time without my whole family and only with my girlfriend. I saw the ride was called BTM. So I called my mom to let her know they changed the name. She replied "Yeah, it was always called that. I just like runaway train better"

We all call SE the "big golf ball".

We just recently started calling ToT - Towah of Tewah. My dd pronounced it somewhat like that back in June, and it stuck. :rotfl:

My 7 year old (and the younger kids now) call Spaceship Earth the big golf ball.

(And now I'm going to be singing Hakuna Matata with it's newly revised lyrics about a colonoscopy...lol)

My youngest adds an "i" to EPCOT, calling it EPiCOT (kind of sounds like apricot)... She's 9 and it's the last of the 'missayings' of our kids... I kind of hope she keeps calling it EPiCOT...

Referring to MK as Disney World
Calling the monorail a train or tram
space Mission,Mission Mars
Fast TRack
Soaring
Someone once asked me how to get to "THe WAves" They meant The Seas With Nemo and Friends
Honey I Shrunk the Kids instead of audience

When I was a little kid in the 70s and went for the first time. BTMR was being built and we were told the name was going to be Runaway Coal Mine Train. Runaway Coal Train is what I called it, so you are not alone.

Wow, I thought my dh and ds were the only ones out there who called it the runaway train!!

Our local six flags has a roller coaster called the runaway train and thats why they relate it to BTMR! :rotfl2:
