Changing Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets

Hi,
I somehow booked Oogie Boogie Bash tickets the day they went on sale for the wrong date. I just noticed now when printing them out for my trip folder. I booked 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 children) for Tuesday, August 26th instead of Tuesday, August 19th. We are flying in from the East Coast and won't even be in California on August 26th. Has anyone had luck switching dates? Or is there a specific line to call to have a higher likelihood of success. I heard they are not very accommodating with changes. Tuesday, August 19th is still available currently but I don't want to buy a new date and just eat the roughly $560. Not sure if I need to find someone to switch dates with me since they can't be resold. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would try the online chat feature and see what they say. Unfortunately, you are right they aren't very accommodating with refunding tickets. But you are not asking for a refund but to exchange for a different date. Are the two dates the same price?

I would call and directly talk to a CM. Historically Disney will all it can to help you if the date you want to switch to still have tickets available. I would call ASAP to try and switch your tickets.

That could work in your favor. My only advice it to use the chat or give them a call sooner rather than later and see what they can do.

Once the date sells out, your chances of getting them to let you change them will go down dramatically. I don’t know if they will do it even with tickets still available, but it is definitely worth a try. Please post back and let us know what happens! I hope they let you do the exchange!

Were the dates you were trying to change to sold out?

I didn’t ask directly because the CMs I chatted seemed very firm. I'll contact them again--doesn't hurt!

Anyone have successfully swapping event dates in the past?

Talked to a CM who said cannot swap dates even if there are still tickets available for the date we want Any kind of changes or refunds are not allowed for all event tickets.

Anyone know of a way to swap dates with others? Is there a way to do this here? I saw Facebook groups about it but seems fraudulent
