What is the date of the official Mission Space Opening?

Which day is the official opening? I know it is sometime during the week of Oct. 5.
 
Epcot is closing at 3pm on 10/9 to hold a special press event for the official opening.
 
The official opening was mid August I thought? :confused: Wasn't it the 15th?
