What is the best way to rent out a timeshare??

We are thinking of renting out our timeshare but I am not sure of the right way to go about this. It is an RCI resort and I believe that you need to have a guest gift certificate? Are there any legality issues that I should be aware of before doing this? Thanks for any suggestions or feedback.
