Looking for a good CS to eat at for one night for dinner......THANKS,, in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best CS for burgers is Beaches and Cream. It is also the hardest to get into. No ADRs accepted.

Beaches and Cream is not a CS. It is a table service. They have a takeout window, but it serves only drinks and ice cream (no specialty sundaes).

The only options in that area (for the dining plan) are the Beach Club Marketplace, Hurricane Hanna's (lunch only) and the Boardwalk Bakery. If you are not on the dining plan, there is a pizza window at Spoodles (that is supposed to stay intact even after Spoodles becomes Kouzzina.) There is also the Fountain at the Dolphin (it's rather like Beaches and Cream, more of a TS.) Boardwalk to Go sells sandwiches and hot dogs - again, though, they don't take the dining plan.

There really isn't a good CS in the BC/BW area ( one of its down points). Beaches and Cream has diner style burgers and ice cream, but is a TS restaurant, and since it does not take adrs because it is a tiny place, there are often long waits.

We typically just walk into Epcot for CS; Sunshine Seasons, and Cantina del San Angel, are favorites.

What does the Marketplace at the Beach club have for food???

Thanks, I just checked out all ears..... Now I wish we had an adr for that night. But I knw my kids are going to be tired from traveling and thought that a CS would be the best option for that night and now I am thinking at the Beach Club there is not a good option.....UGH!!!! That is one plus to staying at our home resort SSR.....!!!!!!!! I hope that I do not regret staying at the Beach Club now!!!!

Hurricane Hannah's is lunch only? I thought it was open as late as the pool?

It serves really good burgers now...as good as B&C.

I answered this somewhere else for you Kritter but BC Marketplace has three different cold sandwiches all of which we think are good.

I don't think you'll regret staying at BCV. It is true that the CS options there aren't as varied as at SSR but there are so many other nice things about it.

Maybe do room service the first night if your children are really tired and save your DDP credits for another day?

On the Dining Plan brochure it says lunch only. That may just be their way of saying that often it's only open for lunch.

Thanks, I did see your answer about the sandwiches. I like the idea of room service if the kids are too tired.......:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

That makes sense to keep people from expecting to be able to grab dinner there at 8 or 9. The pool hours vary quite a bit. Next time we're there, I'll ask. Or maybe someone else who'll be there soon can do some DIS research....oh, Kritter!:surfweb:

BC Marketplace also has some frozen food type stuff you can put in the microwave if you're staying in the villas... if you are coming from the airport, you could just stop and eat at Burger King/McDonald's???

just trying to think - I know these will be OOP not on dining plan....

We like the pizza window at Spoodles--there are tables right on the Boardwalk where you can sit and eat, look out over the water, and people watch (depending on which way you're facing :)).

When we stayed at the BCV last April we went down to Hurricane Hannah's one night around 7:30 and got burgers. There was actually quite a line at that hour. The burgers were really good, and we ate them at a table by the pool. It was really pretty, and a very relaxing meal!

You will not regret staying at BC.... you are a few minutes from Epcot.. we alway's have the park hopper option when staying there since there are so many places to eat at Epcot...

We've stayed at BCV many times and Hurricane Hannah's has always been open as long as the pool is.

There are also some spots over at the Swan/Dolphin that are walkable - we've only been to Shula's over there (definately not counter service) so I don't have recommendations, but someone else might.

We have done the Boardwalk Bakery and the Spoodles pizza window, both are perfectly ok for a snack. Also - while its table service, you can get appetizers at ESPN for a quick and not terribly expensive meal. Potato skins and chicken wings....

That is why we get park hoppers too. We tend to just walk over to Epcot to eat or we book most of our TS for Epcot and walk back at the end of the day.

If you're at BCV, I'd walk to Epcot for CS. The walk is no more than 5 minutes and there are a lot of great CS options there.

Otherwise, from the options available, I would probably pick BC Marketplace. It's pretty convenient.
