:D Hi All,
Well its less than a week after we returned from our last WDW vacation at OKW and we are already counting the days, hours, minutes and seconds to our December trip at VWL. Which brings me to my question - for all that have stayed at VWL in a 1bdrm - whats the best 1bdrm# and why do you think this? TIA:p

I stayed in 2511 in June at VWL. It was a nice one bedroom overlooking the quiet pool and a partial view of the lake. It was very near the elevator. I don't know that I would say it is the "best" room, but we were pleased with it. We would like next time to be in about the same vicinity, but maybe two floors up.

Dear Sue! Sorry we missed you! We got back yesterday. We were in room 5532. I requested top floor, non-smoking, non handicapped and with a balcony that had railings. We were also pretty close to elevators. It was overlooking the woods, with a partial view of a road. Never once did I see anything on the road, but I could hear a bus occasionally. My DH ran every morning and really liked our room. He needed the serenity and got it !!!!! Our room was at a corner so that our balcony could see the gutters of part of the "L" in the roof, but it really was fine. Since this was our first time at VWL, we aren't experts but we were very happy. It was just DH, DD and myself. My DH just now commented that we probably didn't need the 1BR, but each of us had our own space.( No one fought over a TV- DD and DH each had their own!)
As an aside, after our trip to VWL, we had to extend our stay and I got into the PO- French Quarter. The resort itself is very cute but when we opened the door to our room, all of us had to pick up our jaws off the floor. Once in a 1BR, it's incredibily hard to go to a regular room again. The unconvinced DH said " I'd never want to stay in a regular room again!"
Our trip was great! I can't wait to get to VWL in December, this time without the heat! Diane

The first time we stayed at the VWL we asked for a pool view. We were given room 3517-close to the elevator. Not only did it have a view of the pool, you could also see the lake from the balcony.
